Precautions / Tips Precautions Please use and store the product under normal temperature. Please do not expose the product in rain or wet environment. Please do not throw it avoid damage caused by falling. Please do not disassemble, repair and remake the product by yourself. Please do not clean the product with chemical solvents. Track Control- In playing status, press and hold “V-” for 2s to play previous music, press and hold “V+” for 2s to play next music Volume Control- Short press “ V+” or “V-” button to adjust volume. Every press will increase/decrease volume by one level Mute- During the call, press and hold “V-” for 2s to disable MIC function and another 2s to enable MIC function. Voice prompts When powering off, Ticpods reminds “Power off “ automatically When powering on, Ticpods reminds “Power on“ automatically When pairing successfully, Ticpods reminds “Your headset is connected” automatically When disconnecting, Ticpods reminds “Your headset is disconnected” automatically When the battery is low, Ticpods reminds “Battery Low” automatically Battery Low Alert- when the battery voltage is below 3.3V, the headset will alert with red light blinking every 60s Battery low (Power off)- When the battery voltage is below 3.0V, the headset will be powered off automatically During the call, press and hold “V+” button for 2s to switch audio from Bluetooth to phone. Then another 2s to switch from phone to Bluetooth. Voice function Press and hold the “MFB” button for 2s (require device support) Comments: Functionality may vary by devices Comments: Please adjust the volume to a safe level Feature Introduction Connect one Ticpods to two devices: Follow the pairing procedures to pair the first phone, turn off the Bluetooth on phone, then pair with the second phone. Turn on the Bluetooth on the first phone and connect to the headset During the call, short press “MFB” button to end current call to answer the call on hold Double press “MFB” button to answer the second call and swap between two calls Short press “MFB” button to end calls one by one. Comments: some functionality may be affected when two phones using the same headset Comments: please use the certified and suitable chargers. Using other types of chargers violates warranty and service policies and results in dangerous consequences. Safety Precautions When charging with the charging cable, be sure to observe the precautions below in order to avoid the risk of heat generation, fire, explosion, and electric shock. 1. Do not use the charging cable to charge any device other than a headsets. 2. Do not place heavy objects on the charger cable. 3. Always keep the charging cable connector clean. Wipe away any dust that collects on them. 4. Use a dry cloth to clean the charging cable. Do not use detergent for cleaning. 5. Do not touch the charging cable when your hands are wet. 6. Make sure no liquid (water, sports drink liquid, seawater, animal urine, etc.) gets on the charging cable during use. 7. Do not charge the headsets when it is wet. 8. Never touch the headsets, or charger cable during an electrical storm. 9. Should the headsets, charging cable become damaged, immediately stop using them and unplug the charger from the power outlet. Doing so increases the damage when accident occurs. Safety Precautions Avoiding hearing damage Permanent hearing loss may occur if you use your headsets at a high volume. Set the volume to a safe level. Over time you can become accustomed to a higher volume that may sound normal but can be damaging to your hearing. If you experience ringing in your ears or muffled speech, stop listening and have your hearing checked. The louder the volume, the less time is required before your hearing could be affected. Hearing experts suggest that to protect your hearing. 1. Limit the amount of time you use the headsets at high volume. 2. Avoid turning up the volume to block out noisy surroundings. 3. Turn the volume down if you can’t hear people speaking near you. Caution Use of headsets to listen to music while operating a vehicle is not recommended and is illegal in some areas. Stop using this device if you find it disruptive or distracting while operating any type of vehicle or performing any other activity that requires your full attention. Should you ever notice any abnormality (including skin rash or irritation), immediately stop using the headsets and consult a physician. Whenever your device gets wet, immediately dry it thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth. Do not expose the headsets to extreme temperature or temperature changes.
