          NBS Payment Solutions  5/8                                 User Manual  EQUIPMENT  NBS7250 is the PIN Pad for electronic payment in the 21st century.   It answers user comfort requirements, as well as the continually growing demands of payment  card providers, whether in terms of performance, security or upgradeability.  NBS7250 is based on SAGEM Monetel's Telium® technology.   The NBS7250 terminal is:    • ultra-powerful,   • highly secure,  • multi-application,  • very reliable,   • upgradeable,  • easy to operate.   NBS7250 is ready for migration to EMV smart cards while still providing the secure processing of magnetic stripe cards.  NBS7250 is today's terminal for future electronic payment.

Only a qualified operator is authorized to open the unit and to replace this component. Two choices are possible, the holes (A) or (b) indicated on the drawing opposite.  The base can be used as gauges of pointing on the holes of the screws and for the openings of connectors.   NBS7250 is maintained by a notch situated on its front side and two clips on the back side. In order to install it on its base, first introduce the front side of the equipment and then, make a press on its back side until hearing the locking noise . In order to remove it from the base, remove the two clips one after the other while pulling up the equipment YX
          NBS Payment Solutions  7/8                                 User Manual      Path of the cables  Plug and unplug the strain relief :  It could be more easier  to put in place the strain relief  by  unplugging the connector  proceed according to the figures below  Removing the cable: N°1    To take of the cable, press the flap N°1 and pull the cable N°2. N°2   Installing the cable:   Note : Take care to have sufficient available length of cable in order to be able to remove the terminal from its base and so, to be able to unplug the connector The serial cable can go under the base to reach the opening.  Maybe by the way mentioned as 3, or right in front of the connectors mentioned as 1 and 2. Make a 18 mm diameter hole in the base in order to have a path for a squared angle connector (14mm diameter in case of base thickness lower than 14 mm.   Ethernet Cable (Option)  Preparing the back cable cover   The Ethernet cable is optional. The path is through the hole(2). The opening in the table must be 14mm diameter.  The back cover may be opened as mentioned as 4 in order to have a path for Ethernet cable. (option)
