Caution Available function Remarks ÂĽ Originating calls to an extension or central office line Press the headset call (call control) key twice briefly and perform a dialing operation from the telephone. ÂĽAnswering terminating calls Press the headset call (call control) key while a call terminates with a ring tone. âť The headset call control key allows you to only originate calls from the headset and answer terminating calls. Any other headset-specific functions are not supported. âť The handset cannot be used while you are talking with the BluetoothÂŽ headset on. You cannot switch to the BluetoothÂŽ headset to use while you are using the handset, either. ÂĽThe ringing of calls terminating to the headset is linked with that of the telephone, though some ringing features, such as a busy tone, are not supported. âť For latest information about recommended products, browse the following Web site: http://www.necinfrontia.co.jp/ ÂĽA headset with built-in BluetoothÂŽ supporting the HFP/HSP profiles can be connected to the BHA-L UNIT. ÂĽThe receiver volume can be controlled with the multifunctional telephone (the cursor up and down keys or the volume key). ÂĽWhether the functions mentioned above work or not depends on the destination system. For more details, refer to the useâs guide that comes with the destination system. ÂĽThe ways you originate calls from the BluetoothÂŽ headset and answer terminating calls may vary depending on the type of device you use. Ä Important Ăť This product features built-in radio equipment that operates on the entire band of 2.4 to 2.4835 GHz. Bands in which mobile stations are identified can be avoided. The product supports the FH-SS modulation method and an interfering distance of 80m. It is labeled with a mark to designate these characteristics as shown at right. 2.4 FH 8 Ăť The working frequency band of this device is shared by industrial, scientific and medical equipment, such as microwave ovens, premises radio stations that are typically used in manufacturing lines at plants for mobile identification (radio stations that require licensing) and specified low-power radio stations (license-free radio stations). âź Mounting Procedure âź Pairing a BluetoothÂŽ Device with a Multifunctional Telephone with Each Other Follow the steps below to attach the BHA-L UNIT to the bottom-unit connector on the back of the multifunctional telephone. If the telephone is furnished with various cables, remove these cables first. Invoke the BluetoothÂŽ screen from a multifunctional telephone menu and register the BluetoothÂŽ headset with the BHA-L UNIT. For more details on working with the menu, refer to the user's guide or other documentation that comes with your system. Caution ăťOnly one BHA-L UNIT can be mounted per telephone. ăťThe BHA-L UNIT cannot be mounted on the economy multifunctional telephone (DTL-2E-1) and the cordless terminal (DTL-24BT-1). < Invoking the BluetoothÂŽ Device Setup Screen > Invoke the BluetoothÂŽ screen in one of the following methods: Turn over the telephone. ăť If the BHA-L UNIT is connected to an Aspire X: Press menu keys > [5. Optional Devices] > [1. Bluetooth]. ăť If the BHA-L UNIT is connected to a PBX (other than Aspire X): Press menu keys > [3. Setup] > [5. Optional Devices] > [1. Bluetooth]. Lower the tilt legs to the first level. Release lugs a and b on the stopper from grooves A and B in the tilt legs and widen the tilt legs. In pairing a BluetoothÂŽ device having a PIN Code other than 0000, enter a string of 4 to 16 digits to suit that device. =$NWGVQQVJ? If connected setting is not done,the BluetoothÂŽ device that does the pairing cannot be used.
