When the connection is established, a checkmark will appear in the “CONNECTED DEVICE” icon. 7. When the device is connected, it will calibrate automatically (succession of green, red, and blue colors), then the light will remain green. Please note, if the MyOeno Scan slot turns yellow and starts to recalibrate, you are in an environment with too much and/or changing light. To avoid this, set down your MyOeno Scan and position it so that it is not exposed to direct and/or unstable light. 8. When the scan light is solid green, dip the device’s slot completely into the wine. The measurement is performed automatically. Please note, if the immersion lasts more than five (5) seconds, the measurement conditions are not optimal (the environment has too much and/or changing light). Be careful not to move your MyOeno Scan around in your glass and do not expose it to direct and/or unstable light. 9. When the MyOeno Scan slot is fully immerged for a few seconds, the triangle that characterizes the wine will appear on your smartphone, and you can remove MyOeno Scan from the wine. Please note, you must have an internet connection and you need to have completed all the wine identification fields in order to “CONFIRM” your tasting form. If you do not have the information required to fill in all of the fields (Domain, Vintage, Country, Region Designation), enter “--“. 10. Press the button to turn off the product, or return to step 3 to test another wine. Recharging: If the MyOeno Scan starts flashing red, it needs to be recharged using the USB cable provided.
