The ZR-2 is used to extendthe operational range between Total Control products that work on URC’s2.4 GHz RF network, such as the TRC-780 and to the MRX AdvancedSystem Controller. Once joined to an MRX, it wirelessly repeatscommunication between a Total Control remote and an MRX AdvancedSystem Controller. Pressing the Test buttonon the rearof the unit refreshes the signal strength. When the LED is:OFF: There is no signal to communicate between Total Controlproducts.  Press the Test button to reconnect to the MRX AdvancedSystem Controller. Orange: Poor signal strength. URC recommends relocatingthe unit forstrong signal reception. Green: Receiving optimal signal strength.Data LED: The Data LED flashes as the ZR-2 Repeater transmitsdata. Test: Press to obtain the current signal strength status between the ZR-2 andthe MRX Advanced System Controller. USB: INSTALLER ONLY!!
