Operating Instruction - Outlet Adaptor1.  Plug the outlet adaptor into a powered 125VAC wall outlet.2.  Plug the fixture / appliances you wish to control into 1 outlet wall tap / wall      tap plus or the remote outlet of the 2-outlets wall tap plus or yard stake.3.  Turn the mechanical power switch (electrical power switch is not      applicable) of the fixture / appliance to the ON position.4.  Use the timer remote control to set timer and control the fixture/appliance      (see the operating instruction – timer remote control in below).IMPORTANT: ● Outdoor use outlet adaptor is recommended plugged into a      GFCI-protected outlet.● Outdoor use outlet adaptor is suitable for damp locations. Not for water i     mmersion or for use where directly exposed to water.● Yard stake outlet adaptor should be installed above ground level so it will      not fill up with water when raining or snowing. Always unplug and remove      the devices from the yard stake when raining or snowing. MANUAL ON/OFF AND LEARNING FUNCTION OF THE OUTLET ADAPTER Note: This button on the outlet adapter serves as manual ON/OFF and Learning functions.Manual ON/OFF functionIf you have lost your remote timer control, you can still manually turn on/off the remote outlet on the outlet adaptor.1.  To manually turn on the fixture/appliance, press the MANUAL ON/OFF        button on the outlet adaptor once. 2. To manually turn off the fixture/appliance, press once the MANUAL      ON/OFF button on the outlet adaptor. The red LED indicator of the outlet      adaptor and the fixture/appliance that plug in the outlet adapter will then      turn ON as well.Learning function – for timer remote control and outlet adaptorNOTE: The timer remote control and the outlet adaptor in the kit are pre-paired and ready to use.If you purchase solely outlet adaptor (must be one of above model), you can pair the exiting timer remote control with the new purchase outlet adaptor.1. Hold the timer remote control close to the outlet adaptor.2. Press the learning button (manual ON/OFF button) on the outlet adaptor    at least 5 seconds until the red LED indicator light flashes and goes into     learning mode, then release the button. 3. Within 15 seconds, press both ON and OFF buttons on the timer remote     control once to sync with the outlet adaptor.4. If the outlet adaptor has successfully learned the code from the timer     remote control, the red LED indicator will go from flashing light to solid     light, then off afterward.5. Check to see if learning is successful by pressing on and off buttons on the     timer remote control to switch ON and OFF the outlet adaptor.6. Repeat steps 2~5 if learning is not successful.Operating Instruction – Timer Remote ControlIn open space, the timer remote control has a wireless range up to 100 feet* to control the outlet adaptor.*Actual range may vary depending on environment condition, interference and building materials.To turn ON and OFF the fixture/appliance1. To turn ON the lighting fixture/appliance, press ON button on the remote      timer control. The red LED indicator on the timer remote control will flash      and the fixture/appliance on the outlet adaptor will turn ON.2. To turn OFF the fixture/appliance, press OFF button on the timer remote      control. The red LED indicator on the timer remote control will flash and      the fixture/appliance on the outlet adaptor will turn OFF.To turn ON and OFF the fixture/appliance by Timer Feature Example 1: When the fixture/appliance is initially turned ON, and you wish to turn it OFF after 3 hrs.1. Set 3 hrs timer by pressing 3H button on the remote.2. The red LED indicator on the outlet adaptor will flash 3 times to confirm      the timer.3. The lighting fixture/appliance will be turned OFF automatically when 3 hrs      timer is up.Example 2: When the lighting fixture/appliance is initially turned OFF, and you wish to turn it ON after 6 hrs.1. Set 6 hrs timer by pressing 6H button on the remote.2. The red LED indicator on the outlet adaptor will flash 6 times to confirm      the timer.3. The Lighting fixture/appliance will be turned ON automatically when 6 hrs      timer is up.Replace battery in the remote timer controlOne A23 12V Alkaline battery is included and pre-installed in the timer remote control.Versions V1.03Versions V1.04
Replace the battery when the red LED light on the timer remote control goes very dim or does not illuminate while operating.Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the timer remote control, take out the old battery and insert one A23 12V Alkaline battery in the proper orientation, and re-install the battery compartment cover.Wall mount for timer remote control1. Select a spot within the wireless range to mount the supplied wall bracket      for timer remote control.2. The ideal locations for wall mount are entrance of a room or location      where timer remote control wall mount can be easily seen and accessed.3.
