Installation Instructions and Guidelines
1. Find these items in the shipping box: NA GSM Dual Band RadioBlades in individually wrapped antistatic bags, and one
disposable antistatic wrist strap.
2. Unwrap 30 cm (12”) of the disposable antistatic wrist strap and wrap the adhesive side around your wrist.
3. Unroll the rest of the band and remove the liner from the copper tape.
4. Attach the copper tape to the metal card cage inside the RadioFrame Unit (RFU).
5. Insert the NA GSM Dual Band RadioBlades into the specified slots in the RFU as shown in the diagram above. For safe
operation:
• Do not mount the unit in any orientation other than that specified in the diagram.
• Do not force the RadioBlade, or damage to equipment can occur.
• Slide the top of the RadioBlade into the metal slot on top of the RFU until the RadioBlade connector seats firmly into
the backplane.
6. Remove the antistatic wrist strap and dispose of it,
7. Place the front cover on the RFU.
