Main Features

What is pairing?

“Pairing” is the procedure by which the

Bluetooth device that you want to

use is registered on this unit (the two

devices recognize each other).

Make settings so that music data saved

on the Bluetooth device can be played

wirelessly via this unit.

MEMO

5Once a Bluetooth device has been paired with this unit, there

is no need to perform pairing again. If you want to connect this

unit with a Bluetooth device that has already been paired, refer

to “Connecting an Already-Paired Bluetooth Device.”

5The following steps are one possible example. For details, refer to

the owner’s manual of your Bluetooth device.

1. Place the Bluetooth device that you want to connect

nearby this unit.

MEMO

If you have more than one unit of this model, power-on only

the unit that you want to pair (power-o the other units).

2. Press the [POWER] button to power-on this unit.

* This unit is equipped with a protection circuit. A brief interval

(a few seconds) after turning the unit on is required before it

will operate normally.

3. Continue holding down the [PAIRING] button until the

Bluetooth indicator blinks rapidly.

This unit’s Bluetooth function turns on, and pairing begins.

4. Turn on the Bluetooth function of the Bluetooth device.

Example) In the case of iPhone

5. Select “Roland JC-01” that is shown in the Bluetooth

device screen of your Bluetooth device.

When pairing succeeds, this unit’s Bluetooth indicator is lit.

MEMO

If the Bluetooth device’s screen asks you to enter a “Pass Key,”

enter “0000” (four zeros).

Registering a Bluetooth Device (Pairing)

* Use a standard USB AC adaptor (5 V /over 1.8 A) for charging.

Before using this unit for the rst time, connect the included micro

USB charging cable to the rear panel 5 V port and charge it.

1. Play back music on your Bluetooth device.

To adjust the volume, use the [VOLUME] knob or make

adjustments on your Bluetooth device.

MEMO

The playback from an audio player connected to the AUDIO IN

jack can be mixed with the sound of the Bluetooth device.

To set the volume balance, make adjustments on each device.

Listening to Music

Using this unit’s built-in mic

and speaker, you can conduct a

hands-free conversation via your

smartphone.

Making a call

1. Make a call from your smartphone.

To hang up, press the [ ] (Talk) button.

Receiving a call

1. When a ring tone occurs, press the [ ] (Talk) button.

To hang up, press the [ ] (Talk) button once again.

Hands-Free Conversation

1. Perform steps 1, 2 of “Registering a Bluetooth Device (Pairing).”

2. Press the [PAIRING] button to turn on this unit’s Bluetooth

function.

This unit’s Bluetooth indicator blinks.

3. Turn on the Bluetooth function of the Bluetooth device.

When connection succeeds, this unit’s Bluetooth indicator is lit.

MEMO

5If connection does not succeed, select “Roland JC-01” in the

Bluetooth device screen of the Bluetooth device.

5The connection is automatically ended if the Bluetooth

device does not play for approximately 15 minutes.

5To disconnect, press the [PAIRING] button, or turn o the

Bluetooth function of the Bluetooth device.

About the auto-o function

The power of this unit automatically turns o if nothing is

connected to the AUDIO IN jack and approximately 15 minutes

have elapsed without a Bluetooth device being connected

(Auto O function).

Precautions if liquid leaks from the unit

If  uid from the internal lithium-ion

battery leaks from the unit, observe

the following precautions.

• Do not touch the liquid with your

bare hands.

• If any of the leaking  uid gets into your

eyes, the loss of vision may result. Do not

rub your eyes; use clean water to  ush them

thoroughly. Then, promptly see a doctor.

• Burning of the skin or dermatitis may result

if  uid has gotten onto your skin or clothing.

Be careful of temperature when charging

Charge the unit where the

environmental temperature is in the

range of 5 to 35ºC.

Handle batteries carefully

Concerning Batteries

• If the batteries run extremely

low, the sound may distort or

interruptions in the sound may

occur, but this does not indicate a

malfunction. If this occurs, charge

this unit.

Placement

• Using the unit near power

ampli ers (or other equipment

containing large power

transformers) may induce hum. To

alleviate the problem, change the

orientation of this unit; or move

it farther away from the source of

interference.

• This unit may interfere with radio

and television reception. Do not

use this unit in the vicinity of such

receivers.

• Noise may be produced if wireless

communications devices, such as

cell phones, are operated in the

vicinity of this unit. Such noise

could occur when receiving or

initiating a call, or while conversing.

Should you experience such

problems, you should relocate such

wireless devices so they are at a

greater distance from this unit, or

switch them o .

• When moved from one location

to another where the temperature

and/or humidity is very di erent,

water droplets (condensation)

may form inside the unit. Damage

or malfunction may result if you

attempt to use the unit in this

condition. Therefore, before

using the unit, you must allow it

to stand for several hours, until

the condensation has completely

evaporated.

• Depending on the material and

temperature of the surface on

which you place the unit, its

rubber feet may discolor or mar

the surface.

• Do not place containers or anything

else containing liquid on top of this

unit. Also, whenever any liquid has

been spilled on the surface of this

unit, be sure to promptly wipe it

away using a soft, dry cloth.

Maintenance

• Never use benzine, thinners, alcohol

or solvents of any kind, to avoid the

possibility of discoloration and/or

deformation.

Additional Precautions

• Use a reasonable amount of care

when using the unit’s buttons,

sliders, or other controls; and when

using its jacks and connectors.

• When disconnecting all cables,

grasp the connector itself—never

続していない状態で、約 15 分間

Bluetooth 機器を接続しないと、

本機に、異物（燃えやすいもの、

硬貨、針金など）や液体（水、ジュー

スなど）を絶対に入れないでくだ

さい。また、この機器の上に液体

の入った容器（花びんなど）を置

かないでください。ショートや誤

動作など、故障の原因となること

があります。

電池について

• 電池の消耗が著しいと、音が歪み

やすくなったり音が途切れたりす

ることがありますが、故障ではあ

りません。このようなときは本機

を充電してください。

設置について

• 本機の近くにパワー・アンプなど

の大型トランスを持つ機器がある

と、ハム（うなり）を誘導するこ

とがあります。この場合は、本

機との間隔や方向を変えてくださ

い。

• 本機をテレビやラジオの近くで動

作させると、テレビ画面に色ムラ

が出たりラジオから雑音が出たり

することがあります。この場合は、

本機を遠ざけて使用してください。

• 本機の近くで携帯電話などの無線

機器を使用すると、着信時や発信

時、通話時に本機から雑音が出る

ことがあります。この場合は、無

線機器を本機から遠ざけるか、電

源を切ってください。

• 極端に温湿度の違う場所に移動す

ると、内部に水滴が付く（結露す

る）ことがあります。そのまま使

用すると故障の原因になります。

数時間放置して、結露がなくなっ

てから使用してください。

• 設置条件（設置面の材質、温度な

ど）によっては、本機のゴム足が

設置した台などの表面を変色また

は変質させることがあります。

• 本機の上に液体の入った容器など

を置かないでください。また、表面

に付着した液体は、速やかに乾いた

柔らかい布で拭き取ってください。

お手入れについて

• 変色や変形の原因となる、ベンジ

ン、シンナー、アルコール類は使

用しないでください。

修理について

• お客様が本機または付属品を分解

（取扱説明書に指示がある場合を

除く）、改造された場合、以後の

性能について保証できなくなりま

す。また、修理をお断りする場合

もあります。

その他の注意について

• 故障の原因になりますので、ボタ

ン、つまみ、入出力端子などに過

度の力を加えないでください。

gründlich mit sauberem Wasser und suchen

Sie unverzüglich einen Arzt auf.

Hinweise zur Aussentemperatur bei Au aden der

Batterie

Laden Sie die Batterie nur dann auf,

wenn sich die Aussentemperatur

des Bereichs, in dem sich das Gerät

be ndet, zwischen 5 und 35ºC liegt.

Batterien vorsichtig behandeln

Bei nicht ordnungsgemäßem

Austausch der Batterie kann diese

explodieren.

Verwenden Sie als Ersatz immer nur

eine identische Batterie bzw. den gleichen

Batterietyp.

Hinweise zu Batterien

• Wenn die Batterie nur noch eine

geringe Spannung besitzt, kann der

Sound verzerren oder unterbrochen

werden. Dieses ist normal und keine

Fehlfunktion. Laden Sie in diesem

Fall die Batterie auf.

Aufstellung

• Der Einsatz des Geräts in der Nähe

verursachen. Ändern Sie die

Ausrichtung dieses Gerätes oder

Dit apparaat wordt automatisch

uitgeschakeld wanneer er niets

is aangesloten op de AUDIO

IN-aansluiting en er ongeveer

15 minuten zijn verstreken zonder dat

er verbinding werd gemaakt met een

Bluetooth-apparaat (Auto O -functie).

Demonteer het apparaat niet zelf en breng er

geen wijzigingen in aan

Voer niets uit tenzij u dit

wordt opgedragen in de

gebruikershandleiding. Anders

riskeert u een defect te veroorzaken.

Repareer het apparaat niet zelf en vervang er

geen onderdelen van

Laat het onderhoud over aan uw

handelaar, het dichtstbijzijnde Roland

Service Center of een bevoegde

Roland-verdeler, zoals vermeld onder

“Informatie”.

Gebruik of bewaar het apparaat niet op plaatsen die:

• aan extreme temperaturen worden

blootgesteld (bv. direct zonlicht in

een gesloten voertuig, in de buurt

van een verwarmingsleiding, op

materiaal dat warmte produceert);

• In een auto bij zeer hoge

temperaturen;

• nat zijn (bv. bad, wasruimte, op natte

vloeren);

• worden blootgesteld aan damp of rook;

• worden blootgesteld aan zout;

• worden blootgesteld aan regen;

• sto g of zanderig zijn;

• worden blootgesteld aan hoge

trillingsniveaus en schokken; of

• slecht geventileerd zijn.

Plaats het apparaat niet op een instabiele

ondergrond

Anders riskeert u gewond te raken

wanneer het apparaat omvalt of valt.

Vermijd langdurig gebruik bij een hoog volume

Langdurig gebruik van het

apparaat op een hoog volume kan

gehoorverlies veroorzaken. Als u

gehoorverlies of oorsuizingen ervaart,

moet u onmiddellijk stoppen met het gebruik

van het apparaat en een gespecialiseerde arts

raadplegen.

Zorg ervoor dat er geen vreemde voorwerpen of

vloeisto en in het apparaat terechtkomen; plaats

geen voorwerpen met vloeisto en op het apparaat

Plaats geen voorwerpen die

vloeisto en bevatten (bv. vazen) op

dit product. Zorg ervoor dat er nooit

vreemde voorwerpen (bv. brandbaar

materiaal, munten of draden) of

vloeisto en (bv. water of vruchtensap)

in dit product terechtkomen. Dit kan

kortsluiting, storingen of andere defecten

veroorzaken.

Schakel het apparaat uit als het afwijkend

Schakel in de volgende gevallen

meteen de stroom uit, koppel alle

kabels los en neem contact op met

uw verdeler of de klantendienst van

Roland om het apparaat te laten repareren.

• objecten of vloeistof in of op het apparaat

zijn terechtgekomen;

• rook of ongewone geuren ontstaan;

• het apparaat aan regen is blootgesteld (of

op een andere manier nat is geworden);

• het apparaat niet normaal lijkt te werken of

duidelijk anders functioneert.

Bescherm kinderen zodat ze niet gewond

kunnen raken

Zorg ervoor dat er altijd een

volwassene in de buurt is om toezicht

te houden en begeleiding te bieden

wanneer het apparaat gebruikt wordt

op plaatsen waar kinderen aanwezig zijn of

wanneer een kind het apparaat gebruikt.

Laat het apparaat niet vallen en bescherm het

tegen zware schokken

Anders riskeert u schade of een defect

te veroorzaken.

Gebruik het apparaat niet in het buitenland

Gebruik dit apparaat niet in het

buitenland.

OPGELET

Ga niet boven op het apparaat staan en plaats er

geen zware voorwerpen op

Anders riskeert u gewond te raken

wanneer het apparaat omvalt of valt.

Voorzorgsmaatregelen als vloeistof uit het

apparaat lekt

Neem de volgende

voorzorgsmaatregelen in acht als

vloeistof van de interne lithium-

ionbatterij uit het apparaat lekt.

• Raak de vloeistof niet aan met uw

blote handen.

• Als de lekkende vloeistof in de ogen

komt, kan dit leiden tot verlies van het

gezichtsvermogen. Wrijf niet in de ogen;

spoel ze overvloedig met schoon water.

Raadpleeg vervolgens onmiddellijk een arts.

• Als de vloeistof op uw huid of kleding

terechtkomt, kan de huid daardoor verbranden

of kan er dermatitis ontstaan. Gebruik zuiver

water om de aangetaste plekken grondig af te

spoelen en raadpleeg snel een arts.

Let op de temperatuur tijdens het opladen

Laad het apparaat op bij een

omgevingstemperatuur tussen 5

en 35ºC.

Hanteer batterijen met zorg

Er bestaat gevaar voor explosie als de

batterij verkeerd wordt vervangen.

Vervang de batterij alleen door

hetzelfde of een gelijkwaardig type.

Betre ende de batterijen

• Als de batterijen erg leeg raken, kan

het geluid vervormen of kunnen er

zich onderbrekingen in het geluid

voordoen. Dit wijst echter niet op

een defect. Als dit gebeurt, laad het

apparaat dan op.

Plaatsing

• Als u het apparaat gebruikt in

de buurt van eindversterkers (of

andere apparatuur met grote

transformatoren), kan dit gezoem

veroorzaken. Om dit probleem

te verhelpen kunt u de richting

wijzigen waarin het apparaat

geplaatst is of het apparaat verder

van de storingsbron plaatsen.

• Dit apparaat kan de radio- en

televisieontvangst verstoren.

Gebruik dit apparaat niet in de

buurt van dergelijke ontvangers.

• Er kan ruis ontstaan als draadloze

communicatieapparaten, zoals

mobiele telefoons, in de buurt

van dit apparaat worden gebruikt.

Dergelijke ruis kan ontstaan tijdens

gesprekken of als een oproep wordt

ontvangen of gemaakt. Verplaats

dergelijke draadloze apparaten

zodat ze zich op een grotere

afstand van dit apparaat bevinden

of schakel ze uit als u dergelijke

problemen ervaart.

• Wanneer het apparaat naar een

andere locatie wordt verplaatst

waar de temperatuur en/of

vochtigheid sterk verschilt, kunnen

er waterdruppels (condens)

ontstaan in het apparaat. Als u het

apparaat in deze toestand probeert

te gebruiken, kan dit schade of

defecten veroorzaken. Voordat u

het apparaat gebruikt, moet u het

daarom enkele uren ongemoeid

laten, tot de condens volledig is

verdampt.

• Afhankelijk van het materiaal en

de temperatuur van het oppervlak

waarop u het apparaat plaatst,

kunnen de rubberen voetstukken

mogelijk het oppervlak verkleuren

of ontsieren.

• Plaats geen verpakkingen of andere

zaken die vloeistof bevatten op dit

apparaat. Veeg vloeistof bovendien

vlug weg met een zachte, droge

doek wanneer deze op het

oppervlak van het apparaat wordt

gemorst.

Onderhoud

• Gebruik geen benzine,

verdunningsmiddelen, alcohol of

oplosmiddelen om verkleuring en

vervorming te voorkomen.

Extra voorzorgsmaatregelen

• Ga zorgvuldig te werk bij het

gebruik van de knoppen,

schuifknoppen of andere

bedieningselementen van het

apparaat en bij het gebruik van

ingangen en aansluitingen. Als u

ruw omgaat met de apparatuur, kan

dit defecten veroorzaken.

• Neem de stekker vast als u kabels

loskoppelt; trek nooit aan de kabel

zelf. Op die manier vermijdt u

kortsluitingen of schade aan de

inwendige elementen van de kabel.

• Om te vermijden dat andere

apparaten in de buurt verstoord

raken, moet u het apparaatvolume

op redelijke niveaus houden.

• Gebruik geen verbindingskabels

met een ingebouwde weerstand.

• Wanneer u het apparaat afdankt,

doe dat dan volgens de geldende

wetgeving van de plaats waar u

zich bevindt.

Voorzorgsmaatregelen in verband met

radiofrequentie-emissies

• De volgende handelingen zijn

verboden.

• Het apparaat demonteren of

wijzigen.

• Het certi ceringslabel op de

achterkant van dit apparaat

verwijderen.
