When slide is set to “+1” position, dst icon(SUN) will be displ ayed. Forward time by one hour. When slide is set to “-1” position, Set time back one hour. Forward / Reverse Pressing FWD/REV while POWER is off does nothing. Pressing FWD/REV in CLOCK ADJUST mode, changes time 1 minute per touch Pressing and holding FWD/REV in CLOCK ADJUST mode, changes time 10 minutes per second. Pressing FWD/REV in RADIO mode, tunes radio Xhz/Xmhz per touch. Pressing and holding FWD/REV in RADIO mode scans radio forward/reverse. Pressing FWD/REV in Bluetooth mode (with connected device using A2DP and AVRCP profile) when device is playing, will go to the next/previous track. Pressing and holding FWD/REV in Bluetooth mode (with connected device using A2DP and AVRCP profile) when device is playing, will scan withing the currently playing track. iHC-5 User Manual Bluetooth Cellphone Clock Radio Dock Setting the Time Zone 1 - “Atlantic” Zone 2 - “Eastern” Zone 3 - “Central” Zone 4 - “Mountain” Zone 5 - “Pacific” Zone 6 - “Alaska” Zone 7 - “Hawaii” *this product is factory preset Press time zone and hold for 2 sec. Press Defualt is Zone 2 (eastern) Currently set time is shown. Current Time Zone is flashing. or Time Zone loops as Set Buttons are pressed. Time changes to reflect Time Zone. Press Currently Set TIme is Flashing. Default is 12:00 PM clock adj. and hold for 2 sec. Press RADIO or any preset to switch wake-to selection from Blue tooth to RADIO. IF, when Bluetooth Alarm is sounding, and no sound is detected after 20 sec. the alarm will switch to buzzer. Turning Alarms on/off Pressing alm on/off repeatedly wil cycle through the foll owing states: radio alarm 1 on. alarm 2 on. buzzer radio alarm 1 and alarm 2 on. buzzer alarm 1 and alarm 2 off. iHC-5 User Manual Bluetooth Cellphone Clock Radio Dock To preview the alarm Press alm 1 radio radio -or- buzzer alm 2 Alarm Time and icon stays for 5 seconds and reverts to normal d isplay When Alarm is sounding radio When alarm is sounding, either the alarm 1 or alarm 2 icon will flasn. Alarm will sound for 60 minutes unless stopped. When alarm is sounding, pressing ALARM ON/OFF will turn off Alarm. When alarm is sounding, pressing ALARM RESET will turn off Alarm and reset for next day. When alarm is sounding, pressing will activate Bluetoot h, pressing RADIO will activate radio. Wake-to source sound (bluetooth, radio, piezo buzzer) will use gradual wake (valume ramping). Sound will gradually increase over a duration of 30 seconds to the set volume level. NOTE: If Alarm 1 in the wake-to bluetooth mode is the sounding alarm, and when alarm sounds, the product detects no sound for 20 seconds, then last radio wake-to selection will sound instead and Bluetooth will power off. Note: Piezo buzzer uses 100% piezo volume. Confirmation beep s use 30% piezo volume. Adjusting Volume Press or (only when in Bluetooth/Radio/Aux mode) Volume is shown on bottom right of screen volume goes from 0 to 40. If Volume buttons are not touched for 2 seconds, display returns to previous radio -Pressing and holding vol. - or + will adjust volume 5 incremen ts per 1 second. iHC-5 User Manual Bluetooth Cellphone Clock Radio Dock Radio Pressing will continuously cycle through AM, FM1, a nd FM2. radio am fm1 fm2 • Selecting a station Press or • Accessing a radio preset While in any mode, pressing any Preset button will call up that Preset. Presets are numbered 1-4. There are 4 presets for FM1, 4 presets for FM2, and 4 presets for AM. Preset number will be displayed on LCD along with frequency. • Setting a radio preset Pressing and holding a preset (1-4) for 2 seconds will assign w hatever station was being accessed to that specific Preset Key. 1 Confirm Beep Power power alm reset AUTO PAIRING - Press POWER to turn on the unit, the unit is in pairing mode. - Activate the bluetooth option on mobile phone according to th e owner's manual, entering the pass key to establish a pairing connection. - Bluetooth icon flicks to show the unit is in process of pairi ng. - Once connected, the bluetooth icon will remain on (one beep c onfirm, pairing is successful) - If the pairing can not be established within 60 seconds, the display returns to flick repeating pairing procedure if a mobile phone is adjacent to the unit. - If no mobile phone is put in the service range, the display w ill disappear and change operation to be pairing standby mode. iHC-5 User Manual Bluetooth Cellphone Clock Radio Dock Power continued... -Pressing POWER when unit is off goes to either Radio or Blueto oth mode, whichever was last used. -User can turn Radio off when in Radio mode by pressing POWER. -User can turn Bluetooth off when in Bluetooth mode by pressing POWER. Note: alm reset only functions when alarm is sounding. Line in (3.5mm jack) -1 +1 line in line out time zoneclock adj. 1100mA dst -Line in (Auxiliary) works when unit is in Bluetooth mode, in p aralell with both Connected Bluetooth device. If the UNIT is in Bluetooth mode, and both an a Auxili ary audio device / phone is connected and playing through the line-in and a Bluetooth Connected phone , BOTH will be heard. -Certain Phones connected through the Mobile in can be used wit h the integrated speaker phone. -When a compatible phone is connected correctly, pressing will answer incoming calls. answer on/off Speaker phone icon will show -Press again to END call. Speaker phone icon will tu rn off. answer on/off NOTE: Include 2 Patch Cords. 1) Standard 3.5mm-3.5mm Auxiliary patch cord. 2) Custom 2.5mm-3.5mm mobile in patch cord. (should enable stereo sound and microphone for speaker phone) 10 iHC-5 User Manual Bluetooth Cellphone Clock Radio Dock Snooze alarm icon will flash radio buzzer -Pressing SNOOZE bar while alarm is sounding will stop the alarm from sounding for 9 minutes. -While in snooze mode, alarm icon will flash. Can be used several time during 1 hour alarm period. Dimmer (when alarm is not sounding) Pressing “snooze bar” repeatedly will cycle through: 1) High 2) Medium 3) Low 4) Off Sure Alarm When AC power is unavailable (blackout), alarm will automatically use piezo as wake to. All Clock/Alarm settings will still work (with 2 AA batteries). Line Out The Line Out can be used in any mode, and provides and unamplif ied stereo signal throught the rear 3.5 mm jack. Sleep Function Press (sleep can work in any mode) radio sleep -While unit is off: Pressing SLEEP while unit is off will acti vate sleep in either Radio or Bluetooth mode (whichever was last used), sleep time w ill be shown on display (i.ei: 120 minutes) -While unit is already palying Radio or Bluetooth: Pressing SL EEP while unit is already playing shows sleep time on display (i.ei: 120 minute s) -While unit is already in SLEEP mode: Pressing SLEEP while unit is in sleep mode will show the amount of sleep time remaining, pressing again wi ll change sleep time to the next lower increment (if at 112 min, it will go to 90, 6 0, 30, 15 min, Power off). NOTE: Changing volume while in sleep mode will not affect Norma l Volume or Wake-to Volume. Next time sleep mode is used, last used sleep colume is maintained. 11 Pressing SLEEP repeatedly cycles between the following durations: 120, 90, 60, 30, 15 min, OFF. During the last 15 seconds of SLEEP mode, the volume will gradually decrease. Connect Phone or MP3 player using the appropriate patch cord Pressing repeatedly will switch between ‘Pla y’ and ‘Mute’. PLAY MUTE NOTE: MP3 phone or other Auxilary device must be manually acti vated. Both line in’s (‘mobile in’ and ‘AUX’) will sound at the same time; It is up to the user to manually c ontrol the external devices. Mobile In, AUX, and Bluetooth are connected in paralell. 2. Phone calls Auxilary Mode: (mobile in) *Depends on handset, may be necessary to manually answer call d irectly on phone. Bluetooth (1.2 class 2) * Supports Headset, HFP, A2DP, and AVRCP profiles. 1. Mobile Phone Operation -Cellphone will always be the top priority, since and incoming/outgoing has been progressed, interrupts actively and the on-going music will be muted and ring.
