® OWNERS MANUAL iTrip, adapters, and cases Thank you for buying Griffin Technology’s iTrip . Here’s how to get started. ® 1. Connect iTrip to your iPod®. 2. Press Play. You can use iTrip with many iPod cases from Griffin Technology by simply plugging into the dock connector through the opening in the case. We’ve also included two dock connector spacers for those times when you don’t use a case. Choose a spacer based on your iPod model, insert iTrip through the spacer hole, then snap into the dock connector. 3. Tune your FM radio to a clear frequency (see p. 4). 4. Use iTrip’s + and – buttons to tune iTrip to the same frequency (see p. 5). 5. That’s it. On your FM radio, select a frequency on which you hear nothing but static. 106.9 The ideal choice would have nothing on either of the neighboring frequencies, so listen 106.7 106.9 107.1 for 3 in a row with static and select the middle frequency. (Example you find that 106.7, 106.9 and 107.1 are unused frequencies. We’ve included a USB cable in the package for just that reason. Frequency response: 50 Hz - 15 kHz 11 Press + or – to switch to the desired mode.
