when talk status is maintained continuously in a stationary state in a place with a strong signal, a new fully charged battery installed. • Continuous standby time is the average value calculated when standby status is maintained continuously in a stationary state in a place with a strong signal, without any calls or operations being performed. In weak signal conditions (i.e. inside buildings, in cars, in bags or out-of-range), standby time may be reduced by more than half. Standby time may also vary depending on such circumstances as temperature or condition when battery was charged. • The number of service hours of the battery is the value calculated with stable signal reception. Talking in places where signals are weak and leaving the handset in standby while out-of-range consumes battery power and service hours may be reduced by more than half. • Frequent use with backlight on (for Vodafone live! operation, etc.) will result in shorter continuous call time and continuous standby time. • A portion of the software used in the product includes modules developed by Independent JPEG Group. 16-59 Customer Service If you have any questions about a Vodafone handset or services, please call General Information.
