Chapter 1
Introduction
This Chapter provides an overview of the ZigBee Siren Repeater features and
capabilities.
Congratulations on the purchase of your new ZigBee Siren Repeater. The ZigBee
Siren Repeater is a consumer electronic device, which is used for home automation
and security.

Installation
1. Remove the battery cover from siren. Observe correct polarity before insert batter-
ies.
Operation
1. Join Function
For "Join" a network, please do the following instruction
Press the Join/Leave button for less than 1 second. The LED is blinking while
processing. If the sensor has been joined with the controller successfully, the
Green LED will be on for 2 seconds and then off. The Green LED will be off
instantly if failed.
2. Leave Function
For "Leave" a network, please do the following instruction
Press Join/Leave button for 3 seconds to let the sensor disassociate from the
controller.
The LED will stay off during the normal operation.
The sensor is equipped with a tamper switch. If the cover of sensor is removed,
the sensor will send an alarm to the ZigBee controller. The sensor will be in
"Awake" mode before replacing the cover.

responsible for compliance could void your authority to operate the equipment.

ing two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference and (2) this
device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause
undesired operation

antenna or transmitter.
This equipment complies with FCC RF radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncon-
trolled environment . This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum
distance of 20 centimeters between the radiator and your body.
