I F YOU W I L L  B E  USI NG A K E Y  CHAIN M I NI  T R ANSM I T T E R   (Figure C),it will operate the same as the Single Entry transmitter.  Both willwork with any of our trinary coded receivers.  I MPORTANT:  Theexact same code must be set on your existing transmitter(s) and yourMini Transmitter.  If just one switch is mismatched, the controls willnot function.  If you are adding the Mini Transmitter to your existingcontrols, verify the exact code you are currently using on yourstandard transmitter. Do not set your existing transmitter(s) to thefactory code of the Mini Transmitter.1. R emove the Transmitter CoverRemove the screw from the back of the Mini Transmitter with asmall Phillips screwdriver.  L ay the transmitter down with thebutton facing up. Unsnap the top of the transmitter to access thecoding switches.2. Set the Coding SwitchesThere are nine (9) dip switches, each of which can be placed inthree different positions (+,0,-). Set the switches in the MiniTransmitter to exactly match your existing transmitter(s). DONOT set all switches in the same position, such as all+, all -, orall zeros (Figure D).  WA R NI NG : No other adjustments shouldbe made inside the transmitter.3. R eassemble the TransmitterWhen you are sure that all the switches are set the same in all transmitters put the top back on theMini Transmitter and tighten the Phillips screw. Remember to place the necklace chain or key ring inthe eye of the transmitter case before you snap the transmitter back together.NOT E : If the red light on the transmitter is dim or flickers when the transmitter button is pushed, thetransmitter battery may be weak. The newTR ANSMITTER code is now stored in the control board memory.4. Using your transmitterThe transmitter can either be hand held or mounted on the sun visor of your vehicle. To activate yourgate operator, simply depress your transmitter button until the gate begins to move. T O PR OG R AM FOR  USE  W I T H G AR AGE  DOOR  R E C E IV E R :The Garage Door R eceiver allows the use of the same GTO remote transmitter for both the gate openerand the garage door opener and works in conjunction with dual and triple transmitters (Figure E).1. R emove the Transmitter CoverRemove the access cover from the front of the transmitter by sliding the cover away from the top ofthe transmitter. This will expose the battery and the dip switches. R emove the Garage Door Receiver CoverUse a small screwdriver or knife to remove small door on top of receiver to gain access to codingswitches.3. Each transmitter button corresponds to a (+, 0, or -) setting (Figure H).On the Dual Transmitter, the L eft button has a (+) setting, and the R ight button has a setting of (0).On the Triple Transmitter, the L eft button has a (+) setting, the middle button has a setting of (0), andthe Right button has a setting of (-).For example, if you wish to use the R ight button on the Dual Transmitter to open your garage, youwould set the ninth dip switch on the receiver to (0). Be sure not to use the same transmitter buttonthat you selected to activate the gate operator.
