Use an Ethernet cable to connect an Ethernet jack or a LAN port of your Modem to the WAN port of the router.3. Either connect your computer to a LAN port of the router, or connect your WiFi-enabled device, such as a smart phone, to the wireless network of the router. *The default SSID is labeled on the bottom of the router. By default, it has no WiFi password.Step 3: After detection completed, just follow the on-screen instructions to set up your router. PPPoE is used for illustrating here. Enter the PPPoE Username and PPPoE Password provided by you ISP, and click Next.
