Operations3.1 To Power On the Pager•  Press and hold the Confirm key for 3 seconds.•  Either an audio beeping tone or pager vibration will be generated as the power onsignal.•  Stop the power on signal by pressing any key, the pager will then display thestatus screen.•  The pager will then enter the standby mode for power saving with the LCD turnedoff.•  The status screen can be displayed again by pressing any key.3.2 To Power Off the Pager•  Press the Function key to evoke the second function menu from the status screen.•  Press either one of the arrow keys to select the ‘ ’ icon.•  Hold the Confirm key for 3 seconds to turn off the pager.

NO.: C 3G 6018 UM 9N M 0000 002 0VERSION 0.0                                                  6018 POCSAG CCD-2 2-line Multi-lingual Display Pager UserManualCIRKISYS ELECTRONICS LTD.3.3 Accessing Memory Banks•  Press the Function key to evoke the first function menu from the status screen.•  Press an arrow key to select the ‘ ’ icon and press the confirm key to accessthe user memory bank.•  Press an arrow key to select the ‘ ’ icon and press the confirm key to access thepersonal memory bank.•  Press an arrow key to select the ‘ ’ icon and press the confirm key to accessthe news memory bank.3.4 Receiving and Reading Messages•  The pager will generate an audio alert, a vibration alert or remain silent whenreceiving a call.•  The following screen will be displayed simultaneously.•  Press any key to stop the alert.•  Press the Confirm key read the latest message.•  The pager will notify the user the number of unread messages by displaying the‘’ icon.•  Fast message scrolling can be invoked by continuously pressing the Confirm key(all unread messages will be displayed first).•  The following prompt message will be displayed if there is no message.

Follow the steps outlined in Section Personal Message Alarm Setupto set the personal alarm, or press the Confirm key to abort.3.9 Personal Message Alarm Setup•  User can set a personal alarm to every message in the personal memory bank.•  Select a message in the personal memory bank first.•  Press the Function key to evoke the personal memory bank menu.•  Press an arrow key to select the ‘ ’ icon.•  Press the Confirm key to enter the alarm setup screen.•  Press an arrow key to toggle between ‘ ’ to proceed further or ‘ ’ to abort thefunction.•  Press an arrow key to locate the date and time fields.•  Press the Confirm key to adjust the digits.

If both alarms are set, then the ‘ ’ icon will be displayed.3.14 Melody Selection•  Press an arrow key to select the ‘ ’ icon in the second function menu.•  Press the Confirm key to enter the melody selection screen.•  The current melody will be displayed in the melody selection screen.•  Press an arrow key to select a call type among the options ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’first.•  Press the Confirm key to confirm call type selection.•  Press an arrow key to select a melody among the standard tone and 15 melodies.•  Press the Confirm key to confirm the setting and return to the status screen.
