It is easy to install, operate and maintain. Operation Directions Phillips Screw Battery Compartment Lid TX3-9V Low Battery LED(Red) Normal Operation LED(Green) TX3-9V Illustration The TX3-9V operates on a standard 9 volt alkaline battery. The battery can be inserted by first removing the small Phillips head screw and removing the battery compartment lid. Slide the battery into the compartment with the terminals of the battery coming in contact with the spring contacts as shown in the diagram below: Spring Contacts It does not matter which battery terminal comes in contact with which spring contact. The TX3-9V will function with the battery in either orientation. Once the battery has been placed in the compartment, check to see that the green LED indicator light flashes. If the red LED light flashes, it indicates the battery is weak and therefore should be replaced. If both LED lights come on, remove the battery and reinstall the battery as per the instructions above. Place the battery lid back on the TX3-9V and screw down the lid. A fresh 9 volt battery will power the TX3-9V for 72+ hours. FCC ID: NKBTX3-9V Installation Fasten the TX3-9V on the car or motorcycle using pop rivets or some other suitable fastening.
