Page 5Safety InformationRemote-Pager : 2WAMR w/LCDThe model name, 2WAMR stands for .This transmitter allows you to activate multiple functions by pressing different combinations of the 4 buttons on the unit.Please take these safety precautions into consideration under the following conditions: When servicing your automobile (i.e. changing the oil, washing your car), the  Young Shin Electronics, Inc system should be in Valet Mode.  There is a safety shutdown switch underthe hood that deactivates the remote starter function if the hood is open.However, if the switch has been damaged or the switch has been installed improperly,the vehiclemay start when Button  is pressed for 2 seconds, even if the hood is open. Whenever you loan your vehicle to an individual who is not familiar with Young Shin Electronics,Inc, you may want to put the vehicle in Valet mode.  This will prevent the borrower from accidentallyactivating the Young Shin Electronics, Inc auto-security system.If the Young Shin Electronics, Inc 2WAMR is installed in a manual transmission vehicle, extra pre-cautions are required because the Young Shin Electronics, Incdoes not monitor the gear shift :Under normal circumstances, Reservation Mode is cancelled when a door or hatchback opens.  Please verify that the opening of any door or hatchback cancels Reservation Mode.  If any of the doors or hatchback are not monitored by Young Shin Electronics, Inc because of improper installation or a faulty domelight switch, do not use the Young Shin Electronics, Inc and take your vehicle immediately tothe dealer for repair.  Do not set Reservation Mode if the window(s) are open or if there is anyone inside the vehicle, this includes animals. Remote start installation in a manual transmission vehicle with a convertible top is not recommended. Please perform the following procedure to add orreprogram additional remotes.Alarm ModeYou can arm or disarm alarm mode by pressing Button  for a 1/2 second.Press Buttons  for a 1/2second to make your car siren mute when arming ordisarming your vehicle. Keep in mind that your car siren will still activate for allother modes (i.e. panic or alarm trigger) regardless of whether or not your carsiren is in mute mode.  The car siren will be mute only when arming or disarmingyour vehicle. When the alarm is armed, the starter kill function (an optional feature provided byyour installer) is activated.  This feature disengages the starter mechanism on your vehicle and prevents it from starting, even with a key.If you lose your remote after you have armed the vehicle, use your keyto open the door. The siren will go off.  Turn the ignition on then off,       5 times with your key to shut down the alarm and put the system into valet mode.  You can cancel the valet mode with a remote later on.  See : Valet mode, on page 10.(Siren duration is 30 to 60 sec depending on the options set at the time of initial installation.)
Page 10shows the amount of run-time left in the remote start mode.Press Buttonsfor 2 seconds to activate or deactivate the dual stage shocksensor. The dual stage shock sensor will activate in 30 seconds after the CompuStaralarm mode is armed. When the dual shock sensor is engaged, the remote-pagerwill be alerted by the following triggers:Press button  for 2 seconds to auto-start an automatic transmission engine.Remember, that a manual key in the ignition is required to drive the car.For manual transmission vehicles, please use reservation mode. Press button  for 2 seconds in order to turn off an auto-started car.The engine will run 15 or 25 minutes (25 or 45 min for diesel) depending on presetoptions at the time of installation and then shut off.Auto-Start FunctionDual Stage Shock Sensor The anti-grind circuit (an optional feature provided by your installer) prevents you from engaging the starter on a remote-started vehicle.Page 11If there is a problem in auto-starting your vehicle,the Young Shin Electronics,Inc.system will do one of two things; if it fails for any of the reasons listed in the tablebelow, it will flash the parkinglights three times then flash the error number.Otherwise, it will attempt to start the vehicle three times. If, after three times, thevehicle will not start or stay running, the Young Shin Electronics,Inc. system will shutdown. In either case, please see your installer to resolve the situation.1234567Error Number(# of times parking lights flash) Error ReasonEngine OnKey OnDoor OpenTrunk OpenBrake On Hood OpenReservation Off (Manual Transmission Only)Reservation Mode    (manual transmission only)In order to auto-start your manual transmission vehicle, you must first set theYoung Shin Electronics, Inc system to Reservation Mode before leaving your vehicle.The purpose of Reservation Mode is to leave the transmission gear in the neutralposition when you leave your vehicle. Reservation mode is intended for use on MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS ONLY and NOT FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS.Reservation Mode must be engaged each and every time you leave your manualtransmission vehicle in order to auto-start it.The system is not recommended for vehicles with removable tops.While your vehicle is running with your key, press button  for 2 seconds,you are now in the continuation mode.  Your engine will continue running for thepreset time even if you take your key out the ignition. For a quick stop when you don’t want to restart the vehicle.
Page 12When the vehicle shuts off after reservation mode, theYoung Shin Electronics, Inc system will lock/arm the vehicle. Take care to notlock your keys inside.Your vehicle is now ready for auto-starting. However, the reservation mode will be cancelled if the door is opened or the Young Shin Electronics, Inc. system is putin Valet mode after the reservation has been set.  Once cancelled, you will have tostart the vehicle with the manual key and repeat the above 5 steps if you want torestore reservation mode. If you try to auto-start the vehicle when reservation modehas not been set, the auto-start feature will not work. When you press the auto-start button, the remote will beep three times. The carparking lights will flash three times, pause, then flash seven times. Page 13If you do not want to set reservation mode, shut off the engine before you exit the vehicle.  The engine will shut off for the following reasons: Canceling Reservation ModeTrunk ReleasePress Button  for 2 seconds in order to unlock and release your trunk. Note that, the trunk release function will not only release the trunk, but will unlock all the doors as well.  Query Function allows the you to visually monitor the status of your car bylooking at the remote-pager GLO LCD icons.  Press button  for a 1/2second to activate the Query Function.Query FunctionPanic ModePress button for 2 seconds to enter Panic Mode. In this mode, the car will arm,  if not armed already, and the siren/horn will activate and the parking lights will flash. In order to disengage Panic Mode, press button  for a 1/2 second. Then, press button  for a 1/2 second to unlock/disarm your vehicle.If Anti-Jacking option has been programmed  (ask your dealer if youwould like to have this option) and the Ignition-Kill has been installed , the Panic Mode works as Anti-Jacking if the key is in the ignition. If Anti-Jacking mode is activated while key is in the ignition,a)The siren will go off for 1.5 minutes, and  b) Ignition-Kill will be activatedafter the first 30 seconds.  This is to give a 30 second warning to the hijacker,then to disconnect the ignition to stop the vehicle.
Page 14While the vehicle is in valet mode, only the keyless entry function will be available.Valet Mode is very useful when loaning your vehicle or having it serviced.In order to enter Valet mode, press Buttons  simultaneously for a 1/2 second.  In order to manually enter Valet Mode, insert your key into the ignition and turn the ignition on, then off, five times within 10 seconds.Valet ModeYou can exit Valet Mode only by pressing Buttonssimultaneously for a 1/2 second. Timer Start ModeIn Timer Start Mode, your car automatically starts every 1.5 or 3.0 hours, depending on preset options during the time of installation, for a 24-hour period. This mode is cancelled automatically after 24 hours or once you start your car with either the key or remote-pager. In order to enter Timer Start Mode, press Buttons  simultaneously for a 1/2 second.Also, note that Timer Start Mode becomes  once an optional temperature sensor is installed.  Timer Start Mode should be used only in open areas. Never start and run the vehicle in an enclosed space such as a garage or carport.Safety Shut Down FeaturesThe Young Shin Electronics, Inc. 2WAMR system has several shut down safety features.  The following actions will shut down the engine or prevent the car from auto-starting : Opening the hood, pressing the brake, or if Valet Mode is turned on.Page 15The optional RPS is a feature that allows an individual to page you by simply tappingon the front windshield of the vehicle. RPS is automatically turned on upon activatingalarm mode (pressing button I for a 1/2 second) on the Young Shin Electronics, Inc.2WAMR .The RPS module can be activated by tapping a key on the glass, opposite of the sensor, producing a high-frequency vibration. This high-frequency vibration is detected and your remote-pager will beep and a telephone icon will appear on theGLO LCD indicating that someone is paging you from your vehicle. Press Button  or  for a 1/2 second to deactivate the RPS visual andaudible paging alerts.RPS (Remote Paging System)OPTIONAL PROGRAMMABLE FEATURESThese additional programmable features can be programmed to the Young ShinElectronics, Inc. system by your authorized Young Shin Electronics, Inc. dealer. Ignition LockThis progammable option will automatically lock the vehicle doors once the key is in the ignitionand the brake pedal is pressed.  The doors will unlock as soon as the key is removed from theignition.This progammable option will automatically lock the vehicle doors once the key is in the ignitionand the brake pedal is pressed.  The doors will automatically unlock when the emergencybrake is set while the vehicle is running with the key.You can turn this function on or off by pressing buttons  for a 1/2 second. When set to passive arming, your security system will arm automatically 30 seconds after all the car doors are closed.  There are two types of passive arming that can be programmed by your Young Shin Electronics, Inc dealership:  (1) passive arming with passive lock and (2) passive arming with active lock.Passive Arming
Passive locking means the door will lock when the system passively arms.  In the default factory setting, the system is armed and locked actively, which meansthe system will only arm/lock when the remote-pager is utilized.Page 16Turbo Modeyou can turn this feature on and off by pressing Buttons  for a 1/2 second.In this mode, if the emergency brake has been set, the engine will continue to runafter the key has been taken out of the ignition. It will run until two minutes after theemergency brake has been set.To utilize this mode, the emergency brake sensing wire has to be connected to theemergency brake wire of the vehicle.  Consult the authorized dealer for this mode. This option is ideal for turbo-charged vehicles because it allows the turbo too slowlycool after operation.Optional Auxiliary 1 & Auxiliary 2The auxiliary output system is an optional feature that can be tailored for your vehicle by your local authorized Young Shin Electronics, Inc dealership. For example,you can customize your car to have remote power control of your windows, radio,and sunroof in addition to the rooftop on your convertible car.Page 17OPTIONAL INSTALLATION FEATURES The Young Shin Electronics, Inc 2WAMR remote-pager has additional features andexpansion possibilities that may require additional parts and labor.Cold Start ModeTimer Start Mode becomes Cold Start Mode. In this mode, your car will automatically start if the temperature of the inside of the vehicle goes below the preset temperature. The minimum interval between the starts will be 1.5 or 3.0 hours depending on preset options during the time of installation.  Cold Start Mode is activated or deactivated by pressing Buttons  for a 1/2 second.

Warrants to the original purchaser that this product shall befree of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and circumstances for theperiod of time that the original owner of this product owns the vehicle in which it isinstalled ; except that the remote controller unit for the period of one year from the date of installation to the original owner of this product.
