SP-0042(A)1510_3 7 i Pairing Your Headset t. Place the headset and the mobile handset where they are easily viewable by no more than 1 meter apart. 2. Ensure the headset is OFF. 3. Press and hold the MFB lor 8 seconds. The headset LED Wi|| alternately tlash green and red. 4. Activate your mobile handset's Biuetooth function by referring to your mobile handset user guide for details. 5. Scroll to the submenu where a list of all Biuetooth devices within about 10 meters are displayed and select "i.Tech". 6. Enter the pie-programmed passkey "0000” and press ”OK“ to pair your headset and mobile handset. When the pairing is complete, the headset LED will flash green rapidly for 5 times followed by a long "beep" tone. 7. Press ”Return" to go back to your mobile handsets main menu. For certain mobile handset models, a headset icon Will be shown on the screen. You should now be able to make and receive calls using your headset. 8. To pair another mobile handset With your headset, simply repeat Steps 1 through 7 until you have reached the limit of 8 mobile handsets. IMPORTANT If the ring cannot be completed within 2 minutes while the pairing mode is activated, the headset LED flashes yellow with 3 ”beep" tones and the headset is turned off. Please repeat Steps 1 to 7 to pairthe headset and the mobile handset again. Using Your Headset Last Number Rediaiing from Your Headset Press the MFB on your headset tWice. IMPORTANT This function is only applicable to mobile handsets with Biuetooth Handsfree Profile. Functionality varies depending on the mobile handset model you have. Please refer to your mobile handset user guide for additional information. 9 i Using Your Headset Answering Calls To answer a call, wait for the headset to ring, then press the MFB to accept the call or answer the call via your mobile handset in the normal way. Ending Calls Press the MFB to end your call or end the call via your mobile handset in the normal way. Dialing from Your Mobile Handset Simply make calls on your mobile handset in the normal way. Voice Dialing from Your Headset If your mobile handset is equipped with a voice dialing function, simply press the MFB on your headset and when you hear an “acknowledgement" tone, say the voice tag. IMPORTANT Please make sure that record voice tag into the mobile handset first before using voice dialing function. Pairing Your Headset 8 i Prior to using your Biuetooth Clip Headset lurthe first time, you must pair it With a Biuetooth-enabled mobile handset. Vour headset can be paired wrth up to 8 mobile handsets at atime by loiIoWing the simple steps in the next page.
