4.8 Temperature and humidity event configuration
Reporting of temperature and humidity out-of—range events requires configuration.
lfyou see temperature or humidity indication similar to the example below, your
temperature and humidity alerts are not configured.
Note: Temperature and humidity readings are not available to assets that are
associated with Radar-L modules. This configuration doesn‘t apply to these assets.

asset type of your asset. See "Retrieve asset type information."

To set temperature or humidity alerts, contact your Radar Dashboard administrator.
Alternatively. you may configure these alerts for an individual asset in
the Asset view. Changes made in the Asset view override any other alert
configuration for this asset.

5.1 View geofence information
A geofence is a virtual region created on a map to represent an actual geographic
area. Geofences are used to define areas for which certain types of asset data need to
be collected.
Note: Only an admin user can modify geofences and their settings.
1. Open the Geofences view to see the list ofgeofences.
2. Click on any geofence. This opens the geofence view and locates the geofence on
the map.

5.2 Search for a geofence
You can search for any geofence using the geofence name.
1. Open the Geofences view.
2. In the Geofence Search field, start typing the name ofthe geofence. A filtered list
that matches the search field will appear in the View.
3. Click the geofence you are looking for. This opens the view ofthat geofence and
locates the geofence on the map.

5.3 Subscribe to alert notification
When an asset detects an alert condition, an alert message is sent to its registered
users through email. You can subscribe to receive alert notifications.
T e conditions that trigger alert notifications are set in each asset type, but can also
be overridden in individual assets or geofences. For more information about alerts,
see “Events and alerts” in the Admin Guide.

To remove yourself from alert notifications:
1. Open the Alerts View.
2. Uncheck the types of alert you want to unsubscribe yourself from.

5.5 Retrieve users list
To see what users are allowed on the BlackBerry Radar Dashboard. click
the Users option on the main menu.
The Users view lists all the users that have access to the application, both
dispatchers and administrators. This is a quick way to find an admin user if you
need assistance,

Generating asset data reports

You can use the Reports option on the BlackBerry Radar Dashboard main menu to
create four types ofreports about your asset data. Each report presents the
requested asset data in graphs and tables.
Dwell Report: Summarizes asset dwell time in the yards and over the time
period that you select. Dwell time refers to time when an asset stays idle in a
yard.
Detention Report: Summarizes asset detention time in the geofences and over
the time period that you select. Detention time refers to time when an asset is
detained in a client geofence.
Yard Check: Summarizes state of assets in selected yard[s) at a selected time.
Cargo Utilization Report: Summarizes utilization status ofyour assets in
selected geofences over a specified period.

6.1 General report features
Creating a report takes two clicks: Click Reports from the Dashboard main menu,
and then click one ofthe new report buttons in the Reports view [the
green + above].
The Dashboard may have an enormous amount ofasset data available. The
following features help you generate and store just the data you need for each
report:
' Set a time range
- Include only geofences you need
‘ Save a report
' Modify or delete a report
6.1.1 Set a time range
With the exception ofyard check, which is based on a specific time, each report has
a Time Range option at the upper left corner. The default time range is "Today”—
your report will include asset data from midnight till the time the report is created.
You can select a different range from the dropdown list, including:
' A range from "Today" to "Past year"
' Click "Today" to display a dropdown list
' Select any ofthe available ranges in the list.
' Note that a saved report is regenerated each time you open it. Therefore,
the time range you select from this list is relative to the time you view the
report. For example, a time range of "Yesterday" means yesterday relative
to the day you open the report, not a specific date. To save a report for a
fixed time range. select "Absolute range "
' Relative range: Select Relative range..., and click and drag the blue dials to a
range you want.

6.1.2 Select geofences or asset types
A report may include an Included Geofences or Included Asset Types section.
This section allows you to select interested geofences or asset types so as to filter
the assets included in the report.
By default, Automatic is selected, which includes all asset types, or all gcofcnccs that
have the “Include in reports” option of the geofence checked. To select specific asset
types or geofences, use the Custom buttonl
- Automatic: Include all. For geofences, the selected geofences must have the
corresponding "Include in report" option selected in the Geofence View.
- Custom:
- Click Custom.
- Click in the Select area below.
' Select from the dropdown list.
- Repeat the above steps to select more geofences or asset types.
Note: You can include up to 1.000 geofences in each report type.
6.1.3 Save the report
You may save the report for viewing later. Type in the report name field to
overwrite the default name. You can always click the edit button 8 next to the
report name to rename it later. Click Save Changes. Your report will be saved and
available on the Reports view, under its report type and with a blue icon.

6.1.4 View a saved report
You can open any saved report in the Reports View by clicking on it. Click < Go
Back to close the report and return to the Reports view.
6.1.5 Refresh a report
To refresh a report, click < Go Back to close it. and then reopen it in
the Reports view.
6.1.6 Modify or delete a report
You can modify or delete any saved report.
' In the Reports view. click a saved report to open it.
' Click Edit Report.

- Click C4 next to the report name to rename the report.
' Edit the time range or geofence selections.
' Click Save changes.
- Click < Go Back to return to the Reports View.
' To delete the report.
- Click Delete Report.
' Click Yes in the confirmation dialog box.

6.2 Dwell report
A dwell report gives you a summary ofthe dwell time of your assets in your selected
time range and geofences.

The dwell report is generated and updated as you change your selections oftime
range and geofences. It presents dwell time information in three ways:
' Pie chart: Shows ranges of assets' average dwell time and number of assets in
each time range
° Histogram: Shows the average number of idle assets and their total idle time
through the selected time range
' Dwell by Geofence table: Shows asset dwell time in each selected geofence
through the selected time range
6.2.1 Pie chart: number of idle assets and their average dwell times
The pie chart groups the average dwell time of each asset across all selected
geofences into ranges and presents each time range with its number ofidle assets.
Each colour represents a range of dwell time as indicated in the legend above the
chart. Hover your cursor over a colour, and you'll see the percentage that number
and colour represents.

6.2.2 Histogram: idle assets and dwell time over time
The histogram to the right of the pie chart depicts the changes in the number of idle
assets and the assets' idle time through the selected time period. The histogram
presents data from all selected geofences. In the histogram,
° X-axis: The progression of time
° Left y-axis: The number of idle assets
' Right y-axis: The range ofmeasured dwell time
° Blue line: Number of idle assets in the selected geofences through the selected
time period
' Red line: Total idle time recorded for all assets in the selected geofences through
the selected time period

6.2.3 Dwell time by geofence
This section presents assets dwell time information by geofence. Data is shown in a
table that includes:
- Geofence: Geofence name
' Total Assets: The total number of assets that have been idle in the geofence
during the selected time period
- Avg Assets: The average number ofassets that have been idle in the
geofence during the selected time period
- Max Assets: The highest number of assets in the geofence that have been
idle at any one time during the selected time range
' Avg Time: Total idle time ofall assets in a geofence averaged over the
selected time range
' Dwell Histogram: Histogram depicting the trend of asset idle time in the
selected geofence over the selected time range

with "Previous” and "Next" buttons that help you navigate between pages.
For each geofence, you can:
' Click the geofence name to see “Selected Geofence" information about the idle
assets within that geofence
' Hover over the red or blue line in the histogram to see more information

This section shows the trend ofidle assets as well as information about each idle
asset in a selected geofence, over the selected time period, including:
' A histogram that shows the trend ofthe numbers of idle assets by asset type

6.2.4.1 Histogram: Avg Dwelling Assets per Type
This histogram is a stacked area chart. describing the trend in the numbers of
dwelling assets in each asset type over the selected time period.
In the sample screen image below,
- The x-axis indicates the progress oftime.
' The y-axis indicates the average number ofidle assets per asset type through the
selected time period.
- Each colour represents a different asset type. as indicated in the legend.
' Hovering over the coloured lines will bring up detailed information about each
asset type at the selected time.

6.2.4.2 Assets in Geafence
The assets table includes details about each idle asset in the geofence, including:
° Asset: Asset identifier
' Asset Type: Asset type
° Last Movement: The last time the asset moved
' Avg. Dwell Time: The asset's dwell time averaged over the number of times it has
been idle for in the geofence, for the selected time period
° Max Dwell Time: The longest time the asset has been idle for in the geofence. for
the selected time period
' Cumulative Dwell Time: The sum ofall dwell times of the asset in the geofence,
for the selected time period

The detention report looks very similar to the dwell report except for one aspect: it
reflects the detention time of your assets in client geofences.
