APPENDIX A REGULATORY INFORMATIONRevised: 20 Feb 07 APX A-1 EST P/N AA107SINFORMATION TO USERSThe ESTeem Model 195Es complies with Part 15 of theFCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following twoconditions: (1) This device may not cause harmfulinterference, and (2) this device must accept anyinterference received, including interference that maycause undesired operation.Note to User:Changes or modifications to this equipment not expresslyapproved by Electronic Systems Technology forcompliance could void the user's authority to operate theequipment.Other InformationModel 195EsDirect Sequence Spread Spectrum DeviceFCC ID No: ENPESTEEM195ESCanadian Certification Number: 2163A-195ESThe equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCCRules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in acommercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used inaccordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in aresidential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be required to correct the interference at his ownexpense. This device has been designed to operate with the antennas listed below, and having a maximum gain of 7 dBi. The antennaslisted below with 7 dBi gain have permanently attached coaxial cables so that the rf power delivered to the antenna connectoris less than 1 watt. Antennas not included in this list or having a gain greater than 6 dBi are strictly prohibited for use with thisdevice. The required antenna impedance is 50 ohms. To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type andits gain should be so chosen that the equivalent isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p.) is not more than that permitted for successfulcommunication. The antennas should be mounted with a minimum separation distance as specified in APPENDIX B - SPECIFICATIONS. The antennas must not be co-located with other antennas.
