Per the FCC RF (radio frequency) exposure requirements: (1) Antennas must be supplied and installed as recommended by Intermec Technologies Corporation to ensure compliance to FCC RF exposure requirements. (2) The user shall not touch the terminal antenna and must remain 22-mm (7/8 of and inch) from the center of the antenna while the transceiver is in use. (3) When installing and using Intermec approved remote antennas associated with the vehicle dock, a 23-cm (9-inch) passing distance must be maintained from any body part of the user, or near-by persons, and the remote antenna.
