32Operation- There are two different ways inorder to add or delete scannedchannels. One is "Custom List"and the other is "Favorite List" inthe channel list. Both of them areavailable after EZ  Scan on theSETUP menu.- A Custom List can be created bytoggling each channel on or offwith  ENTER button. The chan-nels in the Custom List are dis-played in black color, and thechannels deleted from theCustom List are displayed in graycolor. Once a channel is high-lighted you can add or delete thechannel by referring to the smallwindow at the top-left corner ofthe screen.You can create yourown Favorite List. Use the FAVbutton on the remote controlwhen a channel is highlightedand then you can add or deletethe channel to/from the FavoriteList.Channel EditPress the MENU button and then use DD  / EEbutton to select the SETUP menu.Press the GGbutton and then use DD  / EEbutton to select Channel Edit.Press the GGbutton. 51OperationLock Menu OptionsLock Menu OptionsParental Control can be used to block specific channels, ratings and other viewing sources.The Parental Control Function (V-Chip) is used to block program viewing based on the ratings sent by the broadcast-ing station. The default setting is to allow all programs to be viewed. Viewing can be blocked by the type of programand by the categories chosen to be blocked. It is also possible to block all program viewing for a time period. To usethis function, the following must be done :1. Set ratings and categories to be blocked.2. Specify a password3. Enable the lockV-Chip rating and categoriesRating guidelines are provided by broadcasting stations. Most television programs and television movies can beblocked by TV Rating and/or Individual Categories.
