General Safety ProceduresDangerous Voltages and CurrentsBecause dangerous voltages and current may be present even after power is disconnected, always allow sufficient time for components to discharge before touching.Never insert objects of any kind through openings in the equipment. Conductive foreign objects could produce a short circuit that could cause death, fire, electrical shock, or damage to the equipment.Before performing maintenance, remove rings, watches, and other metallic objects that may cause electrical shock or burn hazards.Do Not Service or Adjust AloneDo not attempt internal service or adjustment of equipment unless authorized and/or qualified and in the presence of another person who is capable of rendering first aid, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
306847 Rev A SAIC Proprietary 3-13 Wireless Option DescriptionIntroductionThe RTR-4 Wireless Option is a convenient and cost-effective alternative to the customary RTR-4 cable array that connects the controller, the X-Ray Imager and the XR200 X-Ray Source. This simplifies system setup and use by eliminating the signal cables, especially in operating environments where space is at a premium, accessibility is constrained, or greater controller-target distances are desired.RTR-4 Wireless Option DescriptionThe core components of the RTR-4 system, the controllers, the imagers, and the x-ray sources, are described in the RTR-4 Operator’s Manual and in the respective x-ray source manuals from Golden Engineering.A typical RTR-4 Wireless Option consists of the following hardware items identified in Figure 3-1 in accordance with the numbered list below.1. Carrying case with removable foam lining.2. Optional medium-range antenna unit.3. X-ray Receiver unit and Receiver-to-Source cable4. Power/Transceiver unit5. Adapter cable for optional medium-range antenna unit6. Tall screw-on transceiver antenna7. Short screw-on transmitter antenna8. Two Power/Transceiver-to-Imager cables9.
