1. Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open since this can result
in harmful exposure to microwave energy. It is important not to
defeat or tamper with the safety interlocks.
2. Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door or allow
soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.
3. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important
that the oven door closes properly and that there is no damage to the:
a. DOOR (bent)
b. HINGES AND LATCHES (broken or loosened)
c. DOOR SEALS AND SEALING SURFACE
4. The oven should not be adjusted or reparied by anyone except properly
qualified service personnel.

WARNING

exposure to excessive microwave oven energy when using your

1. Read all instructions before using the appliance.
2. Read and follow the specific: " PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE
TO EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY" found on page 2.
3. As with most cooking appliances, close supervision is necessary to reduce the risk of
a fire in the oven cavity.
4. To reduce the risk of fire in the oven cavity:
a. Do not overcook food. Carefully attend the appliance when paper, plastic, or other
combustible materials are placed inside the oven to facilitate cooking.
b. Remove wire twist-ties and metal handles from paper or plastic containers/ bags
before placing them in the oven.
c. If materials inside the oven ignite, keep the oven door closed. Turn the oven off,
and unplug the appliance. Disconnect the power cord, shut off power at the fuse
or circuit breaker panel.
d. Do not leave paper products, cooking utensils, or food in the cavity when not in
use.
5. This oven must be grounded. Connect only to properly grounded outlet. See
"GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS" found on page 6.
6. Install or locate this oven only in accordance with the installation instructions
provided.
7. Some products such as whole eggs and sealed containers-for example, closed glass
jars-are able to explode and should not be heated in the oven.

designed to heat or cook or dry food. It is not designed for industrial or laboratory

20. Liquids, such as water, coffee, or tea are able to be overheated beyond the boiling
point without appearing to be boiling. Visible bubbling or boiling when the container
is removed from the microwave oven is not always present. THIS COULD RESULT
IN VERY HOT LIQUIDS SUDDENLY BOILING OVER WHEN THE CONTAINER IS
DISTURBED OR A SPOON OR OTHER UTENSIL IS INSERTED INTO THE
LIQUID.
a. Do not overheat the liquid.
b. Stir the liquid both before and halfway through heating it.
c. Do not use straight-sided containers with narrow necks.
d. After heating, allow the container to stand in the microwave oven for a short
time before removing the container.
e. Use extreme care when inserting a spoon or other utensil into the container.

Electric Shock Hazard
Touching some of the internal components can cause serious personal injury or death.
Do not disassemble this appliance.
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding
reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. To
protect against electrical shock, this appliance is equipped with a cord having a 3 prong
grounding-type plug for insertion into a proper grounding-type receptacle. DO NOT alter
the plug for use in a 2-prong receptacle. If the plug will not fit into a receptacle, have the
proper receptacle installed by a qualified electrician.

Do not insert your fingers into any gaps or holes; it may cause injuries.

Consult a qualified electrician or serviceman if the grounding instructions are not
completely understood or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly
grounded. If it is necessary to use an extension cord, use only a 3-wire extension cord
that has a 3-pronged grounding plug , and a 3-slot receptacle that will accept the plug on
the appliance.The marked rating of the extension cord shall be equal to or greater than
the electrical rating of the appliance.
1. A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
2. Longer cord sets or extension cords are available and may be used if care is
exercised in their use.
3. If a long cord sets or extension cord is used:
a. The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension marked electrial rating of
the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of
the appliance.
b. The extension cord must be a grounding -type 3-wire cord.
c. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or
tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.

RADIO INTERFERENCE
Operation of the microwave oven may cause interference to your radio, TV or similar
equipment.
When there is interference, it may be reduced or eliminated by taking the following
measures:
a. Clean door and sealing surface of the oven.
b. Reorient the receiving antenna of radio or television.
c. Relocate the microwave oven with respect to the receiver.
d. Move the microwave oven away from the receiver.
e. Plug the microwave oven into a different outlet so that microwave oven and
receiver are on different branch circuits.

UTENSILS
CAUTION
Electric Shock Hazard
Tightly-closed utensils could explode. Closed containers should be opened and plastic
pouches should be pierced before cooking.
See the instructions on "Materials you can use in microwave oven or to be avoided in
microwave oven." There may be certain non-metallic utensils that are not safe to use for
microwaving. If in doubt, you can test the utensil in question following the procedure
below.

HOUSEHOLD INDOOR USE ONLY
UTENSIL TEST:
1. Fill a microwave-safe container with 1 cup of cold water (250ml) along with the utensil
in question.
2. Cook on maximum power for 1 minute.
3. Carefully feel the utensil. If the empty utensil is warm, do not use it for microwave
cooking.
4. Do not exceed 1 minute cooking time.

MATERIALS YOU CAN USE IN MICROWAVE OVEN
UTENSILS
REMARKS
Aluminum foil
Shelding only. Small smooth pieces can be used to cover thin
parts of meat or poultry to prevent overcooking. Arcing can occur if
foil is too close to oven walls. The foil should be at least 1
inch (2.5cm) away from oven walls.
Browning dish
Follow manufacturer’s instructions.The bottom of browning dish
must be at least 3/16 inch (5mm) above the turntable. Incorrect
usage may cause the turntable to break.
Dinnerware
Microwave-safe only. Follow manufacturer’s instructions. Do not
use cracked or chipped dishes.
Glass jars
Always remove lid. Use only to heat food until just warm. Most
glass jars are not heat resistant and may break.
Glassware
Heat-resistant oven glassware only. Make sure there is no metallic
trim. Do not use cracked or chipped dishes.
Oven cooking bags
Follow manufacturer’s instructions. Do not close with metal tie.
Make slits to allow steam to escape.
Paper plates and cups
Use for short–term cooking/warming only. Do not leave oven
unattended while cooking.
Paper towels
Use to cover food for reheating and absorbing fat. Use with
supervision for a short-term cooking only.
Parchment paper
Use as a cover to prevent splattering or a wrap for steaming.
Plastic
Microwave-safe only. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Should be labeled "Microwave Safe". Some plastic cont ainers
soften, as the food inside gets hot. "Boiling bags" and tightly closed
plastic bags should be slit, pierced or vented as directed by
package.
Plastic wrap
Microwave-safe only. Use to cover food during cooking to retain
moisture. Do not allow plastic wrap to touch food.
Thermometers
Microwave-safe only ( meat and candy thermometers).
Wax paper
Use as a cover to prevent splattering and retain moisture.

a. Never place the glass tray upside down. The glass tray should never be restricted.
b. Both glass tray and turntable ring must always be used during cooking.
c. All food and containers of food are always placed on the glass tray for cooking.

SETTING UP YOUR OVEN
COUNTERTOP INSTALLATION
Remove all packing material and accessories. Examine the oven for any damage such as dents or
broken door. Do not install if oven is damaged.
Cabinet: Remove any protective film found on the microwave oven cabinet surface. Do not remove
the light brown Mica cover that is attached to the oven cavity to protect the magnetron.
INSTALLATION
1. Select a level surface that provide enough open space for the intake and/or
outlet vents.

A minimum clearance of 3.0 inches (7.5cm) is required between the oven and any adjacent walls. One
side must be open.
(1) Leave a minimum clearance of 12 inches (30cm) above the oven.

(3) Blocking the intake and/or outlet openings can damage the oven.
(4) Place the oven as far away from radios and TV a s possible.
Operation of microwave oven may cause interference to your radio or TV reception.

2. Plug your oven into a standard household outlet. Be sure the voltage and the
the frequency is the same as the voltage and the frenquency on the
rating label.
WARNING
Do not install oven over a range cooktop or other heat-producing appliance. If
installed near or over a heat source, the oven could be damaged and the
warranty would be avoid.

OPERATION
1.POWER LEVELS
Ten power levels are available.
Prior to or during cooking, press Power Level and "PL10" will display. Press Power Level
pad, a number pad to select a different power level.

2.CLOCK SETTING
When the microwave oven is plugged into an outlet, "0:00" will display.
(1) Press Timer/Clock twice, "00:00" will appear in the display. The first set of zeros will
flash; ":" and the other zero set will be lighted.
(2) Press the number pads to enter the current clock time. For example, if the time is now
10:12, press " 1, 0, 1, 2 " in order.
(3) Press Timer/Clock to finish clock setting, " : " will flash and the numbers will appear
as a clock time in the display.
NOTE:
If the numbers entered are not within the range between 1:00 to 12:59, the setting will
not be accepted until valid numbers are entered.
In the process of setting clock, if the
pad is pressed or if there is no operation
within 1 minute, the display will automatically return to the previous clock setting.

3. KITCHEN TIMER
(1) Press Timer/Clock once, "00:00" and "Timer" will appear in the display.
(2) Press the number pads to enter the time amount. The maximum amount of time that
can be entered is 99 minutes, 99 seconds.
(3) Press
to confirm setting, the timer indicator will flash, and the timer will start
to count down.
(4) When the time amount elapses, timer indicator will disappear. The oven will beep 5
times. "End" will display. The time of day will display by opening the door or pressing
Note:
The Kitchen Timer setting is different from the Clock setting; it is simply a timer.
During the Kitchen Timer function, no cooking function can be set into operation.
Kitchen Timer amount cannot be increased by pressing

4.MICROWAVE COOK
(1) Press Micro , "00:00" and "Cook" will appear in the display.
(2) Press number pads to enter the cooking time. The maximum cooking time is 99

(3) Press Power Level; PL10 will flash. Press Power Level several times or pads 0
through 9 to select a different power level if desired. See the POWER LEVEL table
above.
(4) Press
to start cooking. The remaining cooking time will display. "Cook"
will flash.
Example: To cook the food with 50% microwave power for 15 minutes.

5. CONVECTION COOK
(1) Press Conv. once, "350" will flash. "Conv.", "F" and corresponding temperature icons
will display.
(2) Press Conv. more times or More press or Less to choose the desired cooking
temperature.Temperature selections (°100, F):170, 250, 275, 300, 325, 350, 375,
400, 425. Press
to confirm.
(3) Press
to start preheating. When the oven preheats to the selected cooking
temperature,it will beep twice; open the door and place food in oven.
(4) Press number pads to enter the cooking time. The maximum cooking time is 99
minutes, 99seconds. "F" will disappear.
(5) Press
to start cooking. The remaining cook time will display. "Conv." and
corresponding temperature icons will flash.
NOTE:
If no preheat needed, skip step 3 above.
If preheating, do not place food into oven until cooking temperature is reached.
If Convection Cooking without preheating, place food into oven at the start of cooking.
Once the oven preheats to the selected cooking temperature, the oven will beep twice to
remind you to enter the cook time, and the temperature will flash. If no operation in 5
minutes, the oven will beep 5 times and return to display the clock.
The oven must preheat to the selected cooking temperature, and the oven door must be
opened before convection cooking time can be entered.

6.COMBINATION FUNCTION (CONVECTION + MICROWAVE)
(1) Press Combi, "350" will flash. "Cook" , "Conv." , "F" and corresponding temperature
icons will display.
(2) Press Combi more times or press More or Less to choose the cooking temperature.
Temperature selections (° F): 170, 250, 275, 300, 325, 350, 375. Press
to
confirm.
(3) Press number pads to enter the cooking time. The maximum cooking time is 99
minutes, 99 seconds. "F" will disappear.
(4) Press
to start cooking. The remaining cook time will display. "Conv."and
corresponding temperature icons will flash.
7.WARM HOLD FUNCTION
(1) Press Warm Hold, "Hold" will display.
(2) Press
to start cooking. The remaining defrost time will count down from
99 minutes.
NOTE:
Warm Hold function can be entered after cooking. The oven will beep twice to denote
entering Warm Hold function.
Warm Hold function can be used after Microwave cook, Convection cook, Combination
cook, Defrost cook and Multi-stage cooking.
The maximum cook time of Warm Hold function is 99 minutes.
Cooking will be canceled if you open the door or press
during Warm Hold
function.

8.ONE TOUCH START
(1) Instant cooking at 100% power level and 1 to 6 minutes cooking time can be started
by pressing number pads 1 to 6. Press
to increase the cooking time by 30
seconds with each press. The maximum cooking time is 99 minutes, 99 seconds.
Instant cooking at 100% power level and 30 seconds cooking time can be started by
pressing
. Each repeated press will increase cooking time by 30 seconds.
(2) The maximum cooking time is 99 minutes, 99 seconds.
(3) During cooking, press More or Less pad to increase or decrease cooking time by 10
seconds.
NOTE:
Time can also be added in 30 second increments by pressing
during Microwave
Cooking, Time Defrost and Multi-stage Cooking.
Time cannot be added by pressing
during Weight Defrost and Kitchen Timer
functions.
9.TIME DEFROST
(1) Press Time Defrost , "00:00", "Cook" and "DEF." will appear in the display.
(2) Press the number pads to input the defrost time.

(1) Press Auto Bake, "Ab-1", "Cook", "Conv." and "Auto" will display.
(2) Press Auto Bake more times to choose the menu, "Ab-1" though "Ab-4". See Auto
Bake Chart below.
(3) For Ab-1, Ab-2 and Ab-3, press number pad 1 to choose the default weight or
portion. Press
to start cooking.
For Ab-4, press number pads to adjust the portion or weight. Press
to start
cooking. The remaining cooking time and corresponding temperature icons will
display. "Conv." and "Auto" will flash.

14. SENSOR REHEAT
(1) Press Sensor Reheat , "Sr-1", "SEN." and "Auto" will display.
(2) Press Sensor Reheat more times or press number pads 1 through 3 to choose the
type of food.
(3) Press
to start cooking. "Sr-", "SEN." and "Auto" will flash. Once the item has
been sensed, the remaining cooking time will flash. "SEN." , "Cook" and "Auto" will
flash.

NOTE: Auto Menu and Preheat cannot be set in Multi-stage Cooking.
EXAMPLE: 80% Power Level for 5 minutes followed by 60% Power Level for 10
minutes; saved as memory 3.

19.LOCK FUNCTION
(1) To lock the microwave so that it cannot be operated by children or other unintended
users, press
pad for 3 seconds. You will hear a long beep. "LOC" will display.
(2) To unlock, press
for 3 seconds, you will hear a long beep and "LOC" will
disappear.
If the clock has been set, the oven will return to display the clock. Otherwise, "0:00"
will display.
20.Cooking End Reminder Function
The oven will beep five times to alert the user that cooking time has ended. "End" will
display. The time of day will display by opening the door or pressing
pad.
21.Other Specifications

1. No intente hacer funcionar este horno con la puerta abierta, ya que podría

Para reducir los riesgos de quemaduras, choques eléctricos, incendio,
lesiones a personas o exposición excesiva a energía de microondas,

PELIGRO
Riesgo de choque eléctrico
Tocar alguno de los componentes internos puede provocar graves lesiones personales
o incluso la muerte. No desarme este aparato.
Este horno debe tener una conexión a tierra. En caso de corto circuito, este tipo de
conexión reduce el riesgo de descargas eléctricas al proporcionar un cable de escape
para la corriente eléctrica. Para protegerse contra descargas eléctricas, este electrodoméstico está equipado con un cable con un enchufe de 3 clavijas para conexión a
tierra que se inserta en una toma de corriente apropiada. NO altere el enchufe para su
uso en un receptáculo de 2 clavijas. Si el enchufe no encaja en un receptáculo, tenga un
receptáculo apropiado instalado por un electricista cualificado.

Consulte con un eléctrico o con personal de servicio técnico calificado si no comprende
completamente las instrucciones de conexión a tierra o si tiene dudas sobre si el
microondas está conectado a tierra de forma adecuada. Si es necesario utilizar una
extensión, sólo utilice una que cuente con 3 cables o que tenga un enchufe de 3 clavijas
y un receptáculo de 3 ranuras que sea compatible con el enchufe del microondas. La
clasificación eléctrica que aparece en la extensión debe ser igual o superior a la de este
dispositivo
1. Este dispositivo cuenta con un cable de alimentación corto para evitar riesgos
relacionados con personas que se puedan enredar o tropezar con un cable largo.
2. Puede utilizar cables más largos o extensiones si tiene cuidado a la hora de
manejarlos.
3. Si utiliza cables o extensiones más largos:
a. La clasificación eléctrica marcada del cable o extensión debe ser tan alta como la
del propio dispositivo.
b. La extensión debe tener un cable de conexión a tierra tipo 3.
c. El cable más largo debe ser ordenado de tal manera que no represente un

El uso del horno microondas puede provocar interferencias en su radio, televisión o
equipos similares.
Cuando exista interferencia, puede ser reducida o eliminada si toma las siguientes
medidas:
a. Clean door and sealing surface of the oven.
b. Reorient the receiving antenna of radio or television.
c. Relocate the microwave oven with respect to the receiver.
d. Move the microwave oven away from the receiver.
e. Plug the microwave oven into a different outlet so that microwave oven and receiver are on different branch circuits.

Riesgo de choque eléctrico

1. Llene un contenedor microondeable con una taza de agua fría junto con el utensilio
que desee probar.
2. Cocine a máxima potencia durante un minuto.
3. Con cuidado toque el utensilio. Si el utensilio está caliente, entonces no lo utilice en
el microondas.
4. No exceda el tiempo de 1 minuto.

OBSERVACIONES
Sólo como protección. Se pueden usar pequeños pedazos para
cubrir las partes delgadas de carne o pollos y así evitar
sobre-cocción. Podría producirse un arco eléctrico si el papel se
coloca demasiado cerca de las paredes del horno. El papel debe
usar al menos a una pulgada (2,5cm) de las paredes del horno.
Siga las recomendaciones del fabricante. El fondo del plato para
dorar debe estar al menos 3/16 pulgadas (5mm) por sobre del
plato giratorio. Su uso incorrecto podría provocar que el plato se
quiebre.
Utilice sólo vajilla microondeable. Siga las recomendaciones del
fabricante. No use platos agrietados o astillados.
Siempre retire la tapa. Sólo utilícelos para calentar comida. La
mayoría de los recipientes de vidrio no son resistentes al calor y
podrían quebrarse.
Utilice sólo cristalería resistente al calor. Asegúrese de que no
tengan bordes metálicos. No use platos agrietados o astillados.
Siga las recomendaciones del fabricante. No cierre las bolsas
usando ataduras de metal. Realice agujeros para permitir que
escape el vapor.
Sólo utilícelos para periodos de cocción cortos. No deje el horno
sin vigilancia cuando cocine con estos utensilios.
Toallas de papel
Utilícelas para cubrir la comida cuando la recaliente y para
absorber la grasa. Utilícelas bajo supervisión y durante periodos
de cocción breves.
Papel manteca
Utilícelo como cubierta para evitar salpicones o como envoltura
para el vapor.
Plástico
Envoltura plástica
Utilice sólo productos microondeables. Siga las recomendaciones del fabricante. Debe tener una marca que señale que el
producto es "Microondeable". Algunos contenedores de plástico
se ablandan, pues la comida en su interior se calienta. Las
“bolsas de cocción” y las bolsas de plásticos selladas deben ser
agujereadas tal y como señalan sus instrucciones.
Utilice sólo productos microondeables. Utilícelo para cubrir la
comida y retener la humedad. No permita que las envolturas de
plástico toquen la comida
Termómetros
Utilice sólo utensilios microondeables (termómetros de carne y
dulce).
Papel encerado
Utilícelo como cubierta para evitar salpicaduras y retener humedad.

INSTALACIÓN EN UNA ENCIMERA
Retire todos los materiales de empaque y los accesorios. Examine el horno en busca de daños
como abolladuras o puerta rota. No instalar si el horno se encuentra dañado.
Carcasa: Retire cualquier película protectora que se encuentre en la superficie de la carcasa del
microondas. No retire la cubierta marrón claro Mica que está adherida a la cavidad del horno
para proteger el magnetrón.

2. AJUSTE DEL RELOJ
Cuando el horno de microondas esté conectado a una toma de corriente, se mostrará "0:00".
(1) Presione Timer/Clock (Temporizador/reloj) dos veces, "00:00" aparecerá en la

temperatura parpadeará. Si no hay operación en 5 minutos, el horno emitirá un pitido 5
veces y volverá a mostrar el reloj.
El horno debe precalentarse a la temperatura de cocción seleccionada, y la puerta del

EJEMPLO: 80% de nivel de potencia durante 5 minutos, seguido de 60% de nivel de

a. Presione Favorite 3 veces; La pantalla muestra 3.
