05.200312ADJUSTING THE CUP STOP• Open the dispenser door and use theON/STANDBY/CLEAR switch to activate theSTANDBY mode.• Insert the stop (1) in the openings of the cupcarrier or the drip grid (fig. 15).• Adjust the stop (1) according to the size of thevessel, so that its centre is positioned exactlyunderneath the outlet (fig. 15).Adjust the stop for each product outletseparately, if vessels of different sizes areused.ADJUSTING THE CUP CARRIERVersion for pots• The cup carrier can be adjusted verticallyaccording to the following procedure:• Loosen the screws (fig. 16C/D)downwards:press with the thumb in the recess (2) againstthe notch locking and push the supportdownwards (fig.16A).upwards:hold the support on both sides and push itupwards (fig. 16B).• When the desired position is reached, fasten thecup carrier on both sides using a screw driver(fig. 16C/D).Do not fasten the screws too tightly.Espresso cup carrier (option)• When drinks should be delivered into pots, thecup carrier can be swivelled to the side (fig. 17).16172Operation151BCAD

Thedisplay will prompt you step by  stepthrough the flushing procedure.Flushing takes less than 1 minute.Any parts that come into contact  with  theproduct are removed from the  dispenser.They are cleaned outside the  dispenserwith a special cleaning agent or they arereplaced by parts from an exchange kitand are then fitted to  the  dispenser.The display will prompt you step by  stepthrough the cleaning procedure.Cleaning and flushing will  take  approx.2.5 minutes.• A special cleaning agent must  be  used  forcleaning, which is approved by the  foodindustry.Do not use any scouring agents forcleaning.Under all circumstances observe theinstructions concerning dosing andhandling given on the packing  of  thespecial cleaning agent.It is recommended to have a  specialcontainer at hand for  cleaning.• All items of the schedule mentioned  below  mustbe carried out in the indicated intervals,otherwise the guarantee will be null and void.Make sure that all  components  areinstalled correctly after cleaning.When replacing the product packs (BIB)pay particular attention to theinstructions on the packing of coffee,tea, milk, and cocoa containingbeverages.CLEANING AND MAINTENANCEGENERAL NOTES• For hygienic and technical reasons, thedispenser must be cleaned  regularly.  Theintervals are defined in the programsettings.• There are two different cleaningprocedures, which must each be  carriedout once a week at a certain time:1. Flushing2. Cleaning and flushing• The cleaning times can be set by theservice technician or the  operator  inaccordance with individual requirements.It is recommended to carry out thecleaning procedure inbetween, ifrequired.• If one of the cleaning  procedures  has  notbeen carried out in time,  the  drinkdelivery would automatically be blocked.Hot or cold (option) water can then bedispensed only.

05.200322OptionsOPTIONSDRAINAGE FOOT• The dispenser  can  be  equipped with aspecial foot to drain off liquids from  the  driptray.• For this  purpose,  the  'drainage  for  the  driptray' kit must be installed by a  servicetechnician. This requires the possibility ofconnecting to a drain.CAFÉ COOL• The dispenser  can  converted  for  theadditional delivery of cold beverages (cafécool, iced choco, iced cappuccino).• Prior to  the  installation  of  the  café  cool kitby the service technician, the followinginformation must be taken into account:Prior to the delivery of  café  cool,check the drinking water qualityfirst. Observe country-specificregulations!• Prior to  the  delivery  of café cool- and especially whenever the  dispenser  is  notto be used for a  longer  period  of  time  (e.g.overnight, over the weekend)- rinse the dispenser 1x in order to rinse  anyresidual water out of the  pipelines.WATER TANK• If a  water  connection  is  not available or thedrinking water quality is poor, the dispensercan be equipped by the service  technicianwith an additional tank for manual filling  withwater.• Filling the  dispenser:Plug the power supply plug into the socket.• While the  boiler  is  being  filled  with  water,make sure that there is  always  enoughwater in the water tank.If there is not enough water  in  theboiler, an error message will  appearin the display.To fill the tank with water, usedrinking water only. Renew thewater on a daily basis.MAGNETIC ADAPTERS FOR SMALLERPRODUCT PACKS• For the use of 1.25 l/0.33 gal productpacks, special magnetic adapters (1) areavailable and are inserted in theingredient storage unit and in its  door(fig. 43).Do not place retaining magnetsnext to magnetic cards/creditcards.ESPRESSO CUP CARRIER• Up to two swing-out espresso cupcarriers can be installed for more  precisepositioning of the espresso  cups.DISPENSER FEET• Special dispenser feet can be  used  toposition the dispenser 4.5 cm/1.77 infrom the surface of the table  or  counter.• This makes it possible to cleanunderneath the dispenser.PAYMENT SYSTEMS• The dispenser has been prepared so thatit can be equipped with various types ofpayment systems.• Further information on the possibilitiesregarding the use of payment systemscan be obtained from the servicetechnician.CoffeeMilk Tea143
