Air Sensing Vent • Do not place the device in the direct air flow from fans, heating, ventilation, or air conditioning. • Good locations include bookshelves, desks, and night stands. • It may take up to forty-eight hours after the Healthy Home Sensor is installed for the air quality readings to become accurate. During that time it may show elevated readings. About VOCs and eCO2 In addition to temperature and humidity, your sensor evaluates the relative air quality in your home by measuring Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). VOCs are emitted as gases from various household products and can lead to a degradation in indoor air quality. The Healthy Home sensor also calculates the level of equivalent Carbon Dioxide (eCO2), another potential hazard to indoor air quality. Long-term exposure to poor air quality can affect the health and comfort of those exposed. For more information, visit tabs.io/support. Having trouble? Get technical support at tabs.io/support.
