Transferring the Phone Directory memory
The rhone Directory memory can be transferred one by one or all at
once (with s maximum of 50 numbers) from a cordless handsel to the
base phone or to an additional cordless handset, or from a base phone
to one of the cordless handsets.
Make sure either the base phone or nthor cordless handset tn rereivp

To transfer one phone number from the Phone Direttory

Intercom Operation

Talking between the phones (Intercom)
You can make an intercom call between the cordless handset and base phone, or
between the cordless handsets. You can start the intercom from any phone.
To talk from the cordless handset to the base phone
Example: Making intercom call from
the cordless handset whose
station number is 1 to the
base phone.
1 Press INTERCOM .
2 Turn log Dial to choose ”TO
BASE”, and then press Jog Dial.
The cordless handset and base
phone ring and

When a person at the base phone
picks up the handset from the base

you press on the cordless handset, ”N0 CONNECTION" appears on the display
and you will hear five short error beeps.

You can receive an intercom call on the base phone even when the ringer volume on the base
phone is set to off. The phone will ring at a low level.

Answering Machine Features
Preparing the answering machine
Recording the greeting
This answering machine has prerecorded greetings (see page 61),
However, you can record your own greeting.
The greeting must be between two seconds and one minute long
You can record only one greeting, and it is used regardless of the
answering mode ("normal” and "announcement only” modes. See
page 64). Therefore, if you decide to change the mode, make sure that
you record a new greeting to match the answering mode.
Greeting recording is only available on the base phone
