Install theSIM card first before installing the battery.To install a SIM card and the battery:1. Locate the SIM card slot.2. Position the SIM card with itsnicked corner on top and itscontacts face down.3. Insert the SIM card to the slotuntil it clicks in place.4. Install the battery bymatching the battery hooksto the holes on thecompartment.5. Slide the battery into thecompartment, then press tokeep it in place. See theillustration for reference.6. You mustcharge the battery before using the device the first time. The batterystarts charging as soon as you connect the AC adapter to a powersource.
