20Handling and Care■ Do not let the equipment get wet.The FOMA terminal, battery pack, adapter (including thecharger) and UIM are not waterproof. Do not use them inplaces with high humidity such as a bath or where rain mayget them wet. If you carry them close to your body, moisturefrom sweat may corrode the internal parts causing amalfunction. Note that malfunctions deemed to be caused bywater are not covered by the warranty, and may be impossibleto repair. Since these malfunctions are not under warranty, even when repair is possible, it will be done at the user'sexpense.■ Clean the FOMA terminal with a dry, soft cloth (Lenscleaning cloth).・ The Display of the FOMA terminal sometimes has a specialcoating so that it is easier to see.
